Oh Bull!

Hi HH Fans!
I'm just popping in today to share with you another adorable image from the High Hopes "So Much Cuteness" Release! I'm loving this release because the images are a nice size and not too detailed so you can create a card quite quickly! These images are great for the beginner or more experienced colorer!! Let me introduce you to the "Oh Bull" image!  I just love the little bird on his head!
My card is a simple design and I just used 2 of the papers from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Fall 6x6 collection! Once I popped up my image with foam squares and added it to the paper, I thought of the saying "less is more". Sometimes you just want the image to be the total focal point not all the embellishments that you add. I added Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter pen to the bow and flowers for some bling.
I have a little secret to share. I was all finished colouring my image and was added Gold Wink of Stella to the ring in the Bull's nose when plop" a huge amount came out. I'm sure the whole neighbourhood heard me scream LOL! What to do now???? Rather than throw out my finished image I decided to just re-stamp the head. I coloured it, fussy cut it out and then popped it up with foam squares. It added a cute dimension to his head! Sometimes mistakes turn into the best little things ever!

Happy Birthday!

Hi CDD Fans!
Meet the adorable "Birthday Caterpillar" from Craftin Desert Divas! He's inching along to wish you a Happy Birthday! I was inspired by the August Monthly Mood Board when I was picking my Digital stamp and ink colours!
I decided to sway from my usual Designer paper background and try my hand at creating my own. I took a piece of watercolour paper and masked off strips. Then using Distress Oxide Ink I blended strips of ink. When I removed the tape I got this pretty white and inked background. Then I just coloured my image to match! I used the CDD Inside Scallop Squares to cut out my image and then popped the outer frame up with foam tape for dimension! I added some Stickles and CDD sequins to complete my card! The sentiment is from the CDD Simply Said Clear stamp set.
Copics Used:
R20, R21, R22, R24
G00, G02, G03, G05
BG02, BG05, BG07

Happy Stamping!

Baseball Funnies!

Happy Friday Ai Fans!
Who doesn't love a great Baseball card?? And then to add to the fun it's also a Get Well greeting as well with that fabulous Art Impressions humour!
This is the "Baseball set" from the Ai People collection. Since I didn't have any baseball themed paper, I went online and found this great Digital paper!! I split the sentiment in half so that I could use half on the front of my card.
I decorated the inside to match and used the remaining half of the sentiment on the inside!
