Joy!

Hi!
Well the Christmas rush is over and I hope everyone experienced the best the holiday had to offer! We had a very relaxing and quiet Christmas here at our house. Today I wanted to share one last Christmas card with you. It's already been sent off and hopefully my Aunt will love it as much as I do! This is the adorable "Snowman Sled" from High Hopes Stamps.
I started by stamping "Snowman Sled" onto Copic friendly paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Next using my Copic Sketch markers, I coloured it to match the papers from the Moda Scraps "Sweet Christmas" 6x6 collection. I used a Gina Marie Loopey Square die to cut out the image. Using Tim Holtz distress ink in Vintage Photo, I inked all the edges of my papers to add some dimension. A few enamel dots and some snowflake die cuts finish off my card today.
I decided to put the sentiment "Seasons Greetings" also from High Hopes on the inside. I added some more die cut snowflakes for added interest.

Happy Holidays!

Happy Tuesday!
I have a thing for snowmen and penguins, so of course I fell in love with this darling image called "Snowman Stocking" from High Hopes Stamps! A whole stocking filled with cuties..... I mean what's to to love!! I paired it with the High Hopes "Happy Holidays" sentiment. Speaking of that, this is my last post before Christmas and I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and only good things for the New Year! Enjoy your time with your loved ones!
I stamped my image onto some Copic friendly paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Next I coloured it using my Copic Sketch markers to match the papers from the Photo Play "Christmas Memories" 6x6 collection. I cut out some banner flags and a scalloped circle die for my card design. My Brother Cut N Scan fussy cut my image for me and I popped it up with foam tape for added dimension. Cocoa Gnome!

Happy Tuesday!
Oh my gosh! I absolutely love this adorable Gnome from High Hopes Stamps called: "Cocoa Gnome"!  Lora opened the vault for this re-release of previously retired stamps and is calling it "Winter Wonderland"! I'm a morning coffee drinker but love a hot beverage at night and hot cocoa is often my go to! No marshmallows for me but I'll take that gingerbread cookie LOL!
I decided to use papers for my card from the Polkadoodles "HOHO Gnome" & "Gnome Season" 6x6 collections. To start my card, I stamped the image onto some Copic friendly paper and coloured it to match the papers with my Copic Sketch markers. Then using my Brother Cut N Scan I cut around the image. I added a heart border to each side of the middle strip of paper for a fun look. I added the HH "Gnome For Christmas" sentiment to the bottom corner. Both the sentiment and image are popped up with foam squares for added dimension to my card. I love glitter, so I added some Diamond Stickles to the Gnome's hat. A bit or ribbon, bow and enamel dots finish off my card.

Penguin Tag!

Happy Tuesday!
It's another exciting month over at High Hopes Rubber Stamps with the Woodland Winter Release. These are images that were previously retired and are so adorable, they just had to see the light of day again! Meet the adorable "Penguin Tag"! You all know I love penguins as they remind me of my Grandma. She would have loved to receive this tag on her Christmas present. You can use "Penguin Tag" as a tag or as an image on a card, it's perfect for both!
I started my tag by stamping the image onto some Copic friendly paper and using my Copic Sketch markers coloured it in. Next I cut the image out using my Brother Cut N Scan. I stamped the "Merry Christmas" sentiment onto the sign, it fit perfectly! Gina Marie has some really cool dies and I used the Arched Stitched Tag die to cut out my background. The snowflake is from a Christmas card I got last year that I repurposed on my tag. A green tree die cut was put behind my popped up image. I added Crystal Stickles to the Penguin's hat and a glitter pen to the embossed parts of the tree die cut. Using my Crop-a-dile Hole Punch I punched a hole in the top of the tag and added 2 strands of ribbon. Some diamond gem stones add the perfect finishing touch.
On the backside I hand printed "to" and "from" and I plan to use this on a present this Christmas.

Hi!
It's the last day of the "Gnome Mania" release over at High Hopes Stamps! The Design Team sure had a fun time playing with all the new images! Today my card uses the adorable "Let's Go Sledding" and the "Gnome Mistake" sentiment.
I wanted to use non-traditional colours on my card today so I decided on a pink and black colour combination. I used some papers from the Paper Rose "B & W Christmas" 6x6 collection and layered pink cardstock behind it. Next I stamped my image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Copic Friendly paper and coloured the image in with my Copic Sketch markers. I cut the image out using a Gina Marie Designs "Pleated Circle" die. For some added dimension, I popped up the image and sentiment with some foam tape.  A nice white bow finished everything off.

After stamping my image onto Copic friendly paper, I coloured in parts of the image with my Copic Markers. I decided to use papers from the Sunny Studios "All Is Bright" 6x6 pad. I had some fun on this card and paper pieced the Gnomes outfits from the matching paper. I haven't paper pieced in awhile and forgot how fun it is and adds a different element to your card. Howdy!
The Design Team over at High Hopes Stamps is having a blast this month creating with the new "Gnome Mania Release"! I'm using the adorable "Coffee Bean" Gnone. on my card today. I love the "Nothing Begins" sentiment too! In my house it's so true.... nothing begins before that first cup or two of coffee!
I made a fairly simple card design today. To be honest I have limited supplies where I am right now and of course you never bring the right stuff with you LOL. To start, I stamped my image onto Copic friendly paper and coloured it in using my Copic Sketch markers. I am using papers today from the Pink & Main "Best Friends" 6x6 collection. Once I had my image ready, I used a Gina Marie Doubled Roped Rectangle die to cut out my cutie. I stamped the sentiment onto a little tag die and added it to my card with some twine.

I started my card by stamping the image onto Copic friendly paper. Next using my Copic Sketch markers, I coloured in the image. I decided to cut the image out with a Gina Marie "Pleated Lace Rectangle" die and layered it over paper from Echo Park's "A Perfect Christmas" collection. My card today is 6.5"x5". I thought that the papers in the Echo Park "Celebrate Winter" 6x6 collection were a perfect choice for this pair. I stamped, coloured and cut out the image with my Brother Cut N Scan. Winter Friends!

Hi Friends!
October brings another re-release over at High Hopes Rubber Stamps called "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas" ". It's so fun to play with all these images again! This cutie patootie is called "Winter Friends ". I think snowmen are one of my favourite things to colour. They remind me of my Mom, who has a huge Snowman collection she gets out every Christmas!
I decided to go with non-traditional winter/Christmas colours for this card. The papers from the Doodlebug "Winter Wonderland" fit the bill. I stamped my image onto Copic friendly paper, coloured it in with my Copic markers and then cut it out using an oval die. I love the round sentiment called "Peace, Love, Joy" and I coloured the hearts to match. A bit of "Spoonful of Snow" from Stampendous adds the snow to ground my image.
Copics Used:
Snowman: C00, C0, C1, C2, C4, C5/ R01, YR04, YR09

Hello!
Anytime is a good time to make Christmas cards, especially when I send so many out to friends and family. With the "Christmas Cheer" re-release over at High Hopes, I just couldn't resist this cutie called "Christmas Boy"! He's adorable, easy to colour and makes the sweetest Christmas card! I love his little toes sticking out! I paired him with the HH "Fun Merry Christmas" sentiment.
This card was fun and quick to make. I stamped my image and coloured it with my Copic Markers. Using my Brother Cut N Scan, I cut around the image leaving a small white border. My papers today are from the Polkadoodles "Ho Ho Ho Christmas" 6x6 collection. A simple layout but still perfect for this cutie. I added some Crystal Stickles to his hat and used a bit of Nuvo Drops in Gloss White to mimic the dots on the present paper.

Hi!
It's Tuesday again and it's my turn to post over on the High Hopes Blog! As I sit here writing this post, I realize that this stamp called "Winter Ride" reminds me of a good friend! I should have coloured the horse brown and then it would have been perfect for her!
After stamping my image onto Copic friendly paper, I coloured the image in to match papers from the Simple Stories "Jingle All the Way" collection. Then using a Gina Marie Double Roped Circle die, I cut out the image with my Big Shot. I added some Stampendous Spoonful of Snow below the image to make it look like they are out on a winter ride! I decided to use the HH sentiment called "Winter Wonderland" on my card today. The image is popped up with foam squares for added dimension. Some ribbon, a bow, poinsettia button and snowflake die finish off my card.

No Peeking!

Howdy Folks!
I'm popping in today to share another Christmas card using "Teddy's Gift" from the "Christmas Cheer" re-release over at High Hopes Stamps! This little guy is just too cute for words! It looks to me like he's trying to shake the present to get a hint of what's inside LOL! I thought the sentiment called "Peeking, Poking, Shaking" was perfect to use with this image!
I decided to use papers today from the Echo Park "Here Comes Santa" 6x6 collection. After stamping my image and colouring it with my Copics, I decided to use the SSS Holiday Frame die to cut him out with. It makes it look like a polaroid picture don't you think?! I struggled trying to colour his fur. I tried various different techniques and finally settled on the Copic 0 and a terry cloth technique to achieve a fur texture. A bit of Crystal stickles on the pom pom finishes off my design.
Copics Used:
Bear: E41, E43, E44, E47, E49 to Copic 0
