Happy Halloween!

Hi!
It's Halloween tonight and this year it might be a bit different due to the pandemic. Hopefully all the little ghosts and goblins stay safe but still manage to have fun! I made this card using the Craft Consortium's Happy Haunting stamp set called "Trick Or Treat".
I stamped and coloured my card using my Copic Markers. I decided to use papers from the Craft Consortium "Happy Haunting" 6x6 collection. This card is a bit "busy" with the papers, but I went with it anyway! I hand cut out the image and added a flag border. I used lots of glitter pen on the image although it's hard to see in the pictures. I also added White Nuvo dots to the mushroom for a bit of added dimension.
Copics Used:
Hair & beards: FY1, Y26, Y28/ C0, C1, C3, C5

Anything Goes Challenge!

Happy Thursday!
Well, today is my last post Guest Designing over on the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog! Wow this month went by fast and I had so much fun playing along in their Challenges. This weeks Challenge Theme is "Anything Goes". I decided to make this fun slimline card using the "Birds and the Bees" and "Green Fingers" stamp sets from Craft Consortium. This is a new Company for me and they have the cutest images!
I started by cutting out a white base using a Gina Marie "Scalloped Stitched Slimline" die. Next using Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink and an MFT Cloud Stencil, I created my sky background. I used some Brutus Monroe Rainbow Dot Slimline paper to create my hills and grass and inked the edges using some Vintage Photo distress Ink. After I stamped and coloured the images with my Copic Markers, I cut them out with my Brother Cut N Scan. All I had to do then was create my little scene. I added some Stickles to the flower centres and the bee's wings for a bit of bling.

Merry Christpaws!

 Happy Tuesday!
I'm so happy you stopped by today to see this adorable card using the "Dog Trio Block" from High Hopes Stamps! I'm a dog lover and have 2 fur babies of my own. Christmas is fun for them as they get gifts too. My one dog Ally, will even unwrap the gift if you start the corner for her. Stella just waits until Ally unwraps it and then steals it away. Then the chase is on LOL!
I stamped my image onto Copic friendly paper and used my Copic Markers to colour it in. Next, using a Double Roped Square die from Gina Marie, I cut out the coloured image. I thought the "Merry Christpaws" sentiment went perfect with this image! My papers today are from the Photoplay Kringle & Co. 6x6 collection. Love the non traditional red and black theme of this collection. A bit of Crystal Stickles on the image finish off my card.
Copics Used:
Dog with hat: T0, T1, T6, T7, T8, T9
Dog with candy cane: C00, C1, C5, C7, C8, C9

Ballerina!

Hello!
When I first saw this image it reminded me of my daughter when she was 4 years old. She used to take Ballet lessons and wore a black leotard and a pink tutu. It was always so cute watching this age group try to be graceful. Sometimes they were more like a herd of elephants LOL. This is the adorable digital stamp called "Preparing To Dance" you can find over at  Kinda Cute by Patricia Alveraz!
I started my card by downloading, sizing and printing out my image. Then using my Copic Sketch Markers, I coloured her in to match how my daughter used to  look. Next Using a circle die, I cut her out and put a Spellbinders Lacey Circle die behind her. My papers today are from the Carta Bella "Paris Girl" 6x6 collection. A few paper layers, a MFT Beautiful Bows die cut, some enamel dots and Stickles to the edge of her skirt  and I was done!
Copics Used:
Skin: E01, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E31, E33, E35, E37

Birthday Hat

Hi!
It's Thursday, so that means it's the start of a New Challenge over on the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog! The theme this week is "Any Occassion" and I decided to do a birthday card. I can never have enough Birthday cards in my stash so when I design one, I usually make 2 at the same time. I decided to use one of my favourite Art Impressions sets called "Birthday Hat". Everyone always gets a kick out of this Gal!
I stamped my images onto some Copic Friendly paper and coloured them with my Copic Sketch Markers. I used my Brother Cut N Scan to electronically cut them out leaving a white border around the edges. I decided to use papers from the Doodlebug "Hey Cupcake" 6x6 collection. For a fun change, I paper pieced the dresses. I added the image to the card base with some foam squares for added dimension. I didn't realize it when I made this card but unfortunately this stamp set is now retired.
I used the sentiment from the "Birthday Hat" set but I cut it in half so I could place it this way on the card.
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E21, E11, R20, RV55
Hair & Shoes: C6, C8
Hat Bow: RV09, RV17, RV19/ BG53, BG57, BG09

Snow Sweet!

Hi!
Todays cards are all about my absolute favourite Winter/ Christmas image....... SNOWMEN!!!!! And of course a Snowlady is even cuter! Meet the adorable "Snow Sweet Snowlady" from High Hopes Stamps
I decided to make two cards using this adorable image for my Christmas Stash! I stamped the images onto Copic friendly paper and coloured them in to match the papers I had chosen to use. Each card uses the "Snow People Saying", one on the front and one on the inside of the card.
For this fun card, I used papers from the Bella Blvd. "Santa Squad" 6x6 collection. I cut out a little frame and then popped it up using 2 layers of foam tape. Next I added some snowy hills and a few trees. I tucked my image under one of the hills and added  bit of Stickles to the hills. The sentiment is on the inside of this card.
For my second version, I used papers from the Recollections "Mistletoe Wishes" 6x6 collection. My design is simple with this card using only 2 of the Designer Papers and some basic Oval die cuts. a few enamel dots and a bit of Stickles to his candy buttons finish off my card.
Copics used:
Snowlady #1: B0000, B000, B00, YR04

Let's Build A Snowman!

Happy Friday!
My card today is another attempt at the "no-line colouring" technique! I really like the soft and different look you get! This cute digital stamp is called "Boy Building Snowman" and is from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alveraz. This image brings back so many memories of building snowmen as a child and then again with my own children!
To begin..... I downloaded, sized and then before printing the image, I changed the Opacity image settings. I made it light so that when the image prints there is not much of an outline.  Just enough to see to colour but that doesn't show through. I coloured the image with my Copic Sketch markers and then using a Gina Marie Pierced Dot Rectangle die, cut out the image. I decided to use this snowflake paper from the Echo Park "My Favourite Winter" 6x6 collection and backed it with cardstock to match my colouring. The sentiment is also from Kinda Cute's "Christmas Sentiments set".
My decorated inside with another sentiment from the "Christmas Set". There's a huge value to this set! You get 23 sentiment images for $2.75 ($1.93 right now on sale).
Copics Used:
Skin: E01, E21, E11, R20
Hair & Boots: E31, E35, E37, E39
Outfit: R39, R59, R89/ B91, B93, B95, B97
Snowman: C00, C0, C1, C2, C3, C8, C9/ E31, E35

Crafty Chick Challenge #3!

Hello!
It's week 3 of my Guest Designing over on the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog. This weeks Challenge theme is to make a CAS (clean & simple) design. That's always a struggle for me as I love to add lots of layers to my cards. So, as my friend Donna would say.... "I sat on my hands" to keep from adding too much LOL. I decided to use this cute digi from Polkadoodles Winnie Sunshine Delights collection called "Sunshine Delight Delicious".
I download the digital image and sized it to my liking. Next using my printer, I printed out the image. I used my favourite colouring medium.... my Copic Sketch Markers to colour Winnie in. I stamped the High Hopes sentiment "If Friends Were Apples" right below the image. I used my paper trimmer to cut out my image and sentiment and added a cardstock layer behind it. All I had to do now was add it to my card base. This is a "custom sized card" 4.25x6.25" to fit my image. Of course I had to add a bit of bling to the flower centres using some Stickles!
Copics Used:
Skin: E01, E21, E95, R20
Hair: E08, E09, E18
Outfit: V09, R56, R59/ Y32, Y35, Y38
Basket of apples: E31, E33, E35/ C5, R59, R46, R05
Flowers: Y32, Y35, Y38/ G28, YG17, YG23

I had so much fun making this card to share with you today! When I saw this High Hopes image called "Sm. Turkey" I just knew I had to have some fun with him! When I looked at him all I could see was rainbow feathers, so I went with what was stuck in my brain LOL!
I stamped my Turkey and 2 "Hay Stack" images also from High Hopes, onto Copic friendly paper and coloured them in with my Copic Sketch Markers. Next, I used my Brother Cut N Scan to cut the images out leaving a small white border. I decided to use papers from the Sunny Studios Preppy Prints 6x6 collection. I added a die cut fence, placed the hay stacks behind it and added my Turkey on top with some foam dots to create a little scene. The sentiment is called "Dot Stuffed Blessings" and I cut it in half to add to the front of my card. A few enamel dots in rainbow colours finish off my card!

Christmas Challenge!

Hello!
It's another new Challenge over on the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog and the theme this week is Christmas. I am having so much fun Guest Designing for the month of October with the Crafty Chicks! I decided to use "Gnome and Snowman Friend" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. I adore this image as it has my 2 favourite things on it....Gnomes and a snowman!
Today I chose papers from the Simple Stories "Jingle All The Way" 6x8 collection. I love the nice traditional colours and patterns in this collection. To start, I stamped and coloured my image with my Copic Markers. Next using a stitched rectangle die, I cut out the image. I added a rectangle piece and a few circle die cuts to make up my design. I backed everything with matching cardstock and added my image to the card base using foam squares, for added dimension. Some Crystal Stickles on Santa Gnome's hat and Mr Snowman's scarf finish off my card.
This is my decorated inside of the card. I used a wooden block stamp for the sentiment and I'm not sure who makes it.

I decided to use fun papers from the Doodlebug "Candy Carnival" 6x6 collection. After downloading, sizing and printing my image, I coloured it with my Copic Sketch Markers. I used a MFT Zig Zag Oval die to cut out the image and popped it up onto my card design with foam squares for added dimension. I also inked the edges of all my papers and embellishments with Black Soot Distress Ink. Some adorable ghost die cuts from Your Next Stamp and enamel dots finish off my card.
