No Waves, No Glory!

Hi!
My Hubby and I took a surfing lesson when we were in Hawaii. Boy it sure is harder than it looks and I never did get up on the board, just took lots of tumbles. Hubby made it up a few times and thinks he looked like "Surfer Bob" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. Let me tell you, it wasn't quite like that and I have the CD to prove it LOL.
Every once in a while I like to make a Stair Step card. They are fun, easy to make and you can create little scenes. I thought Bob would look perfect surfing on this card base. The sentiment "No Waves" from HH goes perfectly with this card.
I used a stitched wave die in 3 colours of blue and glued them to the "steps". Some are popped up with foam tape for added dimension. I took a sponge, some white ink and dabbed the waves to look like the whitecaps in the Ocean. I love this surf board paper from Bo Bunny's "Beach Therapy" 6x6 collection. The sentiment "No Waves" from HH goes perfectly with this card.
I added some clouds in the background and glued them to acetate so they looked like they are floating in the background. I hand drew the birds on the clouds.

Wart's Up?

Happy Tuesday!
I love the simple lines of this stamp from High Hopes called "Raindrops Ribbit". This froggie is perfect for beginners to advanced "colorers" and makes such an adorable card! Plus "Raindrops Ribbit" can be used for any occasion! I used the sentiment "Wart's Up" but really any sentiment would work fine.
I made a card 5.5" square today using papers from the Echo Park "Spring Fling" 6x6 collection. I stamped my image, coloured it with my Copic Markers and then cut it out using a Gina Marie Stitched Arch die. Some ribbon, a bow and some sparkling crystals finish off my card.

Curious Kitty!

Hello!!
I'm sharing this cutie today called "Curious Kitty" from High Hopes Stamps. I have never had a cat but this reminds me of my fur baby Stella. Today she sat staring at a bumble bee on my flowering bush and then when it went to fly away she jumped and nearly caught it in her mouth. Now it was a game of chase between the bee and Stella around the yard. I'm sure the bee was saying "catch me if you can" LOL.
I decided to use papers from the Echo Park "I Love My Cat"6x6 collection. After stamping and colouring my image with my Copic Markers, I cut it out using a hexagon stitched die. My sentiment is also from HH and is called "From Meow To You". I inked all the paper edges and wooden embellishment with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo.
Copics Used:
