Little Dude!

Hello!
Thanks for popping by today to see my card using the "Prickly Little Dude" digital stamp from Polkadoodles! I think it was his hair that drew me to this stamp lol! That and I love cactus, but for the life of me have no green thumb with them.
I challenged myself to do a one layer CAS designed card today. I started by downloading, sizing and printing my image onto Copic friendly paper. Next I coloured him in using my Copic Sketch markers. Then I cut around him, making a 4.25" x 5.5" rectangle (A2 card base). I used a black marker and hand drew the border around the edges. A few enamel dots finish off my card.
Copic Markers Used:
Skin: E11, E33, E51, R20
Hair: E08, E37, E95, YR14, Yr24
Outfit: YR68, Y17, Y38/ B34, B37, B39/ C5, C7, C8
Plants & Pots: G28, G29, YG03, YG17/ E97, E99
Wheelbarrow: R24, R27, R29/ E44, E47/ C2, C5, C7, C8

Thanks for stopping by today! I sure do appreciate it!

Lovely Day!

Hello!
I'm back with another card using the adorable digital image called "Sunshine Delights Little Friends" from Polkadoodles! A while back Polkadoodles had a 50% off sale and I stocked up on some of the adorable digital images!
My papers today are from the Simple Stories "Heart" 6x6 collection. I coloured this adorable Winnie using my Copic Sketch Markers. I don't usually use flowers on my cards as I struggle with placement but this one was easy. Here's my secret...... I had printed this image too close to the edge of the paper and when I wanted to cut her out with a circle die, it sort of went off the page and left a "hole". So I just placed the flowers over the hole and they magically went in the right spray LOL. And no one is the wiser except you reading this post. A bit of Stickles on the flowers and butterfly add the perfect touch of bling to my design!
Here's the decorated inside using a Polkadoodles sentiment from the "Winnie Sunshine Delights Sentiment Bundle".
Copics used:
Skin: E000, E01, E11, R20
Hair: YR14, YR27, E37
Yellow: Y21, Y23, Y35
Blue green: BG11, BG13, BG32, BG34
Green: G28, YG17, YG23, YG25
Shoes: C3, C5, C8
Ground and outline: YG17, YG23, YG21/ B0000, B000, B00

Thanks so much for stopping by today and remember this world is a better place because you are in it!

Amazing Day!

Hi!
Just look at this cutie from Polkadoodles called "Earlie Hedgehog Dandelion"! I fell in love with this digital stamp as soon as I saw it!
I downloaded, sized and printed this digital image and then I coloured it with my Copic Markers. I decided to use papers from the Doodlebug "Simply Spring" 6x6 collection! I love these pastel fun prints, they just make the card have such a happy feel to it! Using a Gina Marie Pleated Circle die, I cut out my coloured image and popped it up with some foam squares. I also inked all the edges of my papers with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Wilted Violet. The circle sentiment is from the Polkadoodles "Prickly Little Dude" Digi stamp set (I'll be making a card with the image soon). Some Stickles on the flower centres and a few enamel dots finish off my card.
Copics Used:
Hedgehog: E51, E53, E55, E57, E59, white gel pen
Flower bouquet: RV06, YG17, YG23
flower in hair: BV04, BV11, BV13, BV17/ YR04, YR09
Ground: W1, W3

Thanks for stopping by an I hope you have an amazing day!

A Whole Year More "Incrediblerer"!

Happy Sunday!
I made this adorable card for my daughter Taylor for her birthday! Taylor turned 26 this year. WOW, where does the time go? I'm beyond proud of the woman she has turned out to be!! I decided to use the Polkadoodles "Winnie's Gifts Galore" clear stamp for Taylor's card. This is my first time using one of Polkadoodles images, but I can tell you it won't be the last! Their stamps and papers are absolutely adorable!
I started by stamping and colouring "Winnie" with my Copic Markers. Then using a Gina Marie Pleated Circle die, cut out the image. I added some ink splatters with  Pico Embellisher using a brush in white and black. I added white polka dots to her outfit with a gel pen and some sparkly Stickles to the yellow flowers. All the edges of my papers and doily are inked with some Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink using a blending tool.
I always struggle with flower sprays but I think it turned out not too bad this time. I used the SSS Calliope Flourish and then added the flowers on top of it.
Love this double bow and little flower embellishment!
On the decorated inside I added a sentiment from the Stamping Bella "Tiny Townie Bree Loves Buttercream" stamp set.
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E33, E35, E37, E39
Blue Greens: BG11, BG23, BG25, BG49
Yellows: Y13, Y15, Y17
Leaves: YG63, YG67
Outline: C0, C1, C2, C4

Thanks for dropping in today and.....
