Rainbow In Your Heart!

Hi!
I needed to add to my "stash" of Sympathy Cards. Although I like making any kind of card, I hate having to give a sympathy card away because it means someone has lost a special person. I know that the "Pansy Window Box Frame" from High Hopes Stamps will brighten up the recipients day and let them know that I am thinking of them!
I stamped my image onto Copic friendly paper and coloured it in using my Copic Sketch markers. Next I cut the image out using my Brother Cut N scan and hand cut out the inside of the window. I added the rainbow paper into the window and popped my image up with foam squares for added dimension. Some lace, ribbon and gems finish off my card today.
I used more of the rainbow paper from the Honey Bee "Spring Lullaby" 6x6 collection on the inside and added the HH sentiment called "Rainbow In Your Heart".
Copics Used:
B60, B63, B66
RV63, RV66, RV69
YG00, YG01, YG03, YG17
Y31, Y35, Y38

With Sympathy!

Good Morning!
I'm back sharing another image from the New Summer 2020 Release over at High Hopes Stamps! This is the beautiful "Hummingbird" image and what a stunner it is! You can use it for any occasion which makes this image very versatile!
I made this pretty heart lattice 6x6" card with a SVG file and my Cameo Electronic Cutting Machine. I stamped the Hummingbird image onto some Copic friendly paper and used my Copic Sketch Markers to colour it in. Then I cut the image out with a Stitched Circle die and backed it with a green circle. Some crystal gems finish off my card.
On the inside I used some patterned paper from the Moda Scrap "Let Your Soul Bloom" collection and added the High Hopes sentiment called "Sending A Prayer".
Copics Used:
Flowers: RV69, RV66, RV17, Y38
Leaves: G28, YG17, YG23, YG25

Pansy Arrangement!

Hi!
I think Pansy's are one of my favourite flowers. I love that they are early bloomers and they can last all summer if you treat them right. I picked all the dead flowers off my pot last year and it bloomed like crazy all summer! And not to mention all the different colours you can get! This is the High Hopes stamp called "Pansy Arrangement".
I decided to colour my Pansy's purple using my Copic Markers (someone special I know loves purple and I was thinking of her as I coloured these *wink*). After colouring the image I cut it out with a Stitched Scallop Nesting Tag die and popped it up on my background with some foam squares. I kept my colour theme simple, just purple and green. The paper is from the Moda Scrap "Let Your Soul Bloom" 6x6 collection. I added a few branches, twine and gold gems to finish off my card.
I decided to use this card as a sympathy card. I love the "Rainbow In Your Heart" sentiment also from High Hopes.
Copics Used:
Flower: BV13, BV17, BV08
Leaves: G43, G46, YG23
Outline: BV0000, BV000, BV00

With Sympathy!

Hello!
Not only was I short on Get Well cards but Sympathy cards as well. I always hate when I run out as it means I've had to send some out and it's not a fun occasion. I'm really trying to use stamps that I've ordered, never used and hoarded (lol). This set is from Simon Says Stamp and is called "Delicate Flowers".
I decided to watercolor these beauties for something different than my usual Copic colouring. I stamped the image onto watercolor paper with Wow Opaque Brilliant White Super Fine Embossing Powder and melted the powder with my heat gun. Then using Tombow markers I added a bit of colour to the image. Taking a fine tipped water brush I pulled the colour out making it look watercolored. I backed the water colour panel with some matching polka dot papers from Echo Park. A few gems finish things off.
On this card I actually fussy cut the flowers and popped them up amongst the foliage.
On this card I stamped the flowers and then masked them off. Next I added the leaves around the flower images.
On the inside I used a sympathy sentiment from my stash and a bit of the dotted papers.

Tobow markers used:
249, 126, 847
985, 606, N5

Pretty Gladiolas!

Hi Everyone!
I think the cards I hate to make the most are Sympathy cards. Not because they are difficult to make but because they are never for a happy occasion! On the other hand they are a card that I always have made and on hand in case one is needed. This stamp is called "Pretty Gladiolas" and can be found in the "Party Time" collection from this month's New Release over at High Hopes Stamps.
I actually stamped the image 3 times to create a bouquet. I masked the middle image and then stamped on either side of it.  I added some ribbon and purple iridescent sequins to complete the card.
This is a new sentiment from the "Party Time" release and is called "In Our Hearts".
Copics used:
Purple: BV01, BV02, BV04
Greens: YG05, YG07
BOOO

With Sympathy!

Greetings!
I think Sympathy cards are the hardest to make as the occasion is one of great loss. Hopefully receiving a handmade Sympathy cards makes the recipient feel just a little bit better knowing you poured love into the making of it!
I decided to watercolour these cards for a softer look. First I stamped and heat embossed the image on some watercolour paper. Then using Distress Inks and some water I coloured the images. A few sequins and they were done.
I re-stamped one of the flowers on the inside and watercolored it as well. The sentiment is from my stash and sorry but I don't know where it is from.
The stamp is from Stampendous and is called Sketchy Blooms.
Distress Inks Used:
Dusty Concord
Broken China
Weathered Wood
Scattered Straw
Mowed lawn
Evergreen Bough
