Christmas Gnomes!

Happy Sunday!
I totally forgot I got this stamp set last year in a Simon Says Stamp Card kit! So what a nice surprise when I found it in my "Christmas bin".  Meet the adorable Gnomes from the "Gnome For the Holidays" stamp set! Love the Gnome dressed as a Christmas tree.... just cracks me up!
Simple design today.... I just stamped the Gnomes onto a piece of Copic Friendly paper and then stamped the snowflakes randomly with blue ink. Next I coloured in my images and added crystal gems to the snowflake centres. I used the "Merry Christmas" sentiment from the set as well. A bit of Stickles added to the Santa Hats adds a fun touch.
This card is has more traditional colours and a piece of paper from the Polkadoodles "Ho Ho Ho Christmas" collection.
This card has a more fun vibe as I used non-traditional colours. A piece of paper from the Doodlebug "Fairy Tales" brings it all together.

Star Flower!

Howdy!
While digging through my stash of stamps, I found this "Star Flower" 6x6 stamp from Simon Says Stamp. I have to tell you it's been fun looking through my stash and finding things I forgot I had. It certainly helps get the creative juices flowing!
I decided to stamp the "Star Flower" with embossing ink and then add white embossing power to it.  Once it was heated with my heat gun and the powder melted, I went about making an ink blended background. I used Distress Oxide Inks in the colors: Mermaid Lagoon, Picked Raspberries and Wilted Violet.
Because the "Star Flower" stamp is 6x6", I was able to cut it in half to make 2 cards. I decided to use my scissors and sort of fussy cut around the image to add a "shape" to it. The Tailored Expressions "Simple Strips Background" stamp is perfect to make small sized banners for your cards. It has 18 sentiments you can stamp all at once and then cut out with the matching die . So handy to make a bunch of strips for future use!
Both of my cards have Studio Katia "Crystal Rainbow Confetti" adhered to them for a bit of bling!
The background papers I used today are from the Sunny Studios "Flirty Flowers" 6x6 collection.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by today!

Ranunculus Flowers!

Hello!
Today I am sharing a couple cards I made using the Simon Says Stamp "Sketch Ranunculus" Stamp and Die set. I'm working my way through the stamps I haven't used yet, slowly but surely LOL.
I am quite obsessed with embossing and watercoloring using my Tombow Markers. I just find it so relaxing colouring in the images and the water-colour effect it produces.
I stamped my images onto water-colour paper and then using embossing ink and white embossing powder I melted the powder. Next I took my Tombow markers and scribbled them onto my Tim Holtz Glass Mat. Then using my water brush I picked u p the colour and started colouring in the images. After the images had time to dry, I then used the matching dies and cut out the images. The tiny sentiments are from the SSS "Sentiment Strips Fresh Bloom". I love these tiny strips as you get a ton of different already stamped sayings and all you do is cut them out.
I used the Darice Ornate Frame embossing folder to create a background for these flowers.
On this card I cut a 4.5x3.25" piece of paper and then used my Cuttlebug Polka Dot Embossing Folder.
Here you can see the different dimensions on these cards I created using different sizes of foam squares.

Tombow Markers Used:
623, 126, 055, 772, 725
