Dancing Queen!

Hi Ai Fans!
"Dancing Queen, you are young and sweet, only seventeen"........ (is the song in your head now LOL). This Gal may not be "young" but she sure is sweet and boy can she dance! This is the "Dancer Wiggle Wobble" from Art Impressions
The "Wiggle Wobble" sets come complete with the images, dies, mini action wobble and mini brads! Everything you need to create a fun and interactive card! My paper is from the Doodlebug So Punny 6x6 Collection. I created the card base with a cut file from the Silhouette Store to showcase my "Dancer" on.
Here you can sort of see the mini wobble in place.

Full Throttle!

Hi HH & OCS Peeps!
Hubby has a Harley and it just happens to be blue....go figure LOL! I knew when I saw this "Harley" stamp from the new "Modes of Transportation" over at High Hopes Stamps, it would have to be coloured blue!
I love the brown plaid paper with the hint of blue, it just fit my card perfectly! A few enamel dots was all it needed to be considered finished.
I love this sentiment called "Live Life" but if I catch Hubby driving "full throttle" he's gonna be in some hot water LOL.
Copics Used:

Jenny Poolside!

Hello!!!
I'm so happy you stopped by today to see my adorable card using "Jenny Poolside" from Digi Doodle Studios! Isn't Jenny just so sweet dipping her toes in the pool with her best fur friend beside her?!!
I kept my design simple using the CDD Fancy Frames die set and paper from the Echo Park "Good Day Sunshine" 6x6 collection. I love 6x6 paper pads and tend to buy every one I can get my hands on LOL. I just find the pattern size is perfect for card making! I added some glitter pen to the water for a fun bit of shimmer although it never photographs well.
A nice big ribbon bow finishes everything off!

Golfers!

Hello Peeps!
Golf season is upon us and these "Golfers" from Art Impressions  "Golden Oldies" line are ready to hit the fairways! When my Hubby saw this card his response was "Omg that's my parents" LOL!
I decided to use papers from the Authentique Suave 6x6 collection. I paper pieced different parts of their outfits for a fun look that ties in with my paper choices. A few enamel dots and my simple design was finished.
I decided to use the sentiment from the "Par-Tee Golfers" set. I just thought it was funny with these two golf die hards.

Patriotic Challenge!

Hi Ai Fans!
It's the first week of the Ai Challenge called "Patriotic Colours". I'm from Canada, so I made my card to Celebrate Canada's upcoming 151st Birthday on July 1, 2018!
In Canada we have a long weekend to celebrate the Country's Birthday with lots of family themed fun and fireworks! I thought the Art Impressions stamp set called "One To Brag" would work perfect for my card!
I started by gathering up all the items I thought I would need to create this "Herringbone" Strip Card.
I decided my card base would be 4.25"x 5.5". I cut a piece of white cardstock at 4 x 5.25", this is what I will add my strips to. I cut a bunch of strips at 1/2" x 6" from some Canada themed papers.
Start by adding 3 strips to the card base. I used a tape runner to easily add my strips with.
Then all you have to do is decide what pattern you want to add your strips. I just butted each strip up against the previous one, working along in my chosen pattern.
Before I moved onto my next pattern choice I trimmed the edges to make it easy to use.
Here you can see how your strips will be going off the edge before you trim them.
I cut and scored my white card base and added a layering piece of red cardstock cut at 4 1/8 x 5 3/8"
Here you can see the finished Herringbone Card Base.
Now onto stamping and colouring my image.
After I coloured my image with my Copic markers, I fussy cut out my image using my Brother Cut N Scan.
I'm using the sentiment called "King Of Cool" but I only wanted to use the "Happy Birthday" part of the stamp. I used some Washi Tape to mask off the remainder of the sentiment before inking. Don't forget to remove the tape before you actually stamp or you'll get a mess. (I did that a few times LOL)
I added some foam tape to both my image and sentiment for some added dimension! This Herringbone technique is really simple to do and actually quite fun! It's a great way to use up your scraps!
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E11, E21, R20
Hair: E15, E17, E19
Reds: R22, R24, R27, R29
Greys: C0, C1
Spectrum Noir Glitter pen added to the cake

Today I wanted to share with you this adorable Police car called "Wrangler" from the "Modes of Transportation" release over at High Hopes Stamps! Isn't He just the cutest police car ever?!! If I got pulled over by this guy I think I would be giggling non stop, he's just too cute!
I went with a Red, White and Black colour theme on this card. I fussy cut the stamped image and added some foam tape to adhere it with for added dimension. A couple black enamel dots and twine were the perfect finishing touches.
