Penguin Tag!

Happy Tuesday!
It's another exciting month over at High Hopes Rubber Stamps with the Woodland Winter Release. These are images that were previously retired and are so adorable, they just had to see the light of day again! Meet the adorable "Penguin Tag"! You all know I love penguins as they remind me of my Grandma. She would have loved to receive this tag on her Christmas present. You can use "Penguin Tag" as a tag or as an image on a card, it's perfect for both!
I started my tag by stamping the image onto some Copic friendly paper and using my Copic Sketch markers coloured it in. Next I cut the image out using my Brother Cut N Scan. I stamped the "Merry Christmas" sentiment onto the sign, it fit perfectly! Gina Marie has some really cool dies and I used the Arched Stitched Tag die to cut out my background. The snowflake is from a Christmas card I got last year that I repurposed on my tag. A green tree die cut was put behind my popped up image. I added Crystal Stickles to the Penguin's hat and a glitter pen to the embossed parts of the tree die cut. Using my Crop-a-dile Hole Punch I punched a hole in the top of the tag and added 2 strands of ribbon. Some diamond gem stones add the perfect finishing touch.
On the backside I hand printed "to" and "from" and I plan to use this on a present this Christmas.

Pamper Yourself!

Hello!
I am always so inspired by my friend Carolina's Tags and gift bags that I had to try to make one for myself! When I saw "Bubbles" from Digi Doodle Studios, I knew this cutie would be perfect for a gift set I wanted to make for a friend!
I created the rectangular tag using paper from the MME Blush 6x6 collection. I printed and coloured my digital image and then cut "Bubbles" out with a Loopy Oval die. I added some flowers and a die cut flourish to the tag. I popped the image and sentiment that I created on my computer up with foam squares for dimension. Lots of glitter was added with my Spectrum Noir glitter pen to the water and wine. Some glossy accents were added to the bubbles. I added a long string of twine so that I could use it to tie the tag to my gift.
I wrapped up a set of bath products and tied the tag to it! A perfect gift to pamper yourself with!

25 Days of Christmas Tags!

Hello Everyone!!
High Hopes Is playing along in the 7th annual "25 Days of Christmas"  Challenge over on "In My Creative Opinion" blog by Tracey McNeely.  High Hopes is sponsoring Day 26 which is a bonus day!
I'm playing along using the new "Winter Kitty" and "Winter Pup" from the High Hopes "Winter Joy" Release.  I thought these 2 stamps made the perfect tags to use for Christmas. In our house the dogs always do their own "shopping" and give gifts to everyone!
I'm using paper from the Bo Bunny Dear Santa 6x6 collection. I made the sentiments on my computer and cut them apart for added interest on my tags!
This "Winter Kitty" looks so elegant in her hat and scarf. I added Nuvo Crystal drops in White Blizzard to the fur on her hat and scarf. (hard to see in pics)
This little darling "Winter Pup" also has the Nuvo added to his hat and scarf!

Copics Used:
Kitty: C1, C3, C5, C7/ B34, B37, B39
Puppy: E13, E15, E17, E19/ R24, R27, R29/ G16, Y26

Ai Tag it Challenge and New Release!

Hello Ai Fans!
Today's the New Release of the Ai Thanksgiving and the Christmas Clear sets! Get ready for some serious cuteness with these sets! I got to try out the Sparkle and Cheer set, and of course I wanted to play along with the "Tag It" Challenge as well!
I have to admit that when I am creating a card or tag I don't have anything planned out in my mind! I start with the stamped image and choose papers I would like to use. Then I gather up things that might go with my paper. I may or may not use them all but at least they are in front of me so I can see what I have on hand! I just design as I go LOL.
I started off by stamping and colouring my images with my Copic Markers. I always like to use my Black gel pen for the eyes and on these snowmen I used it on their buttons as well.
Once my images were coloured, I cut them out with my Silhouette machine and also cut out some tags with matching design paper tags, decreasing them in size to create layers. Then I went about assembling the tags and added embellishment details to each tag! I added sentiments from the set to each of the tags as well.
I think they turned out really cute! But then anything snowmen themed is always adorable no matter what you do with them LOL!
