Joy!

Hi!
Well the Christmas rush is over and I hope everyone experienced the best the holiday had to offer! We had a very relaxing and quiet Christmas here at our house. Today I wanted to share one last Christmas card with you. It's already been sent off and hopefully my Aunt will love it as much as I do! This is the adorable "Snowman Sled" from High Hopes Stamps.
I started by stamping "Snowman Sled" onto Copic friendly paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Next using my Copic Sketch markers, I coloured it to match the papers from the Moda Scraps "Sweet Christmas" 6x6 collection. I used a Gina Marie Loopey Square die to cut out the image. Using Tim Holtz distress ink in Vintage Photo, I inked all the edges of my papers to add some dimension. A few enamel dots and some snowflake die cuts finish off my card today.
I decided to put the sentiment "Seasons Greetings" also from High Hopes on the inside. I added some more die cut snowflakes for added interest.

Happy Holidays!

Happy Tuesday!
I have a thing for snowmen and penguins, so of course I fell in love with this darling image called "Snowman Stocking" from High Hopes Stamps! A whole stocking filled with cuties..... I mean what's to to love!! I paired it with the High Hopes "Happy Holidays" sentiment. Speaking of that, this is my last post before Christmas and I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and only good things for the New Year! Enjoy your time with your loved ones!
I stamped my image onto some Copic friendly paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Next I coloured it using my Copic Sketch markers to match the papers from the Photo Play "Christmas Memories" 6x6 collection. I cut out some banner flags and a scalloped circle die for my card design. My Brother Cut N Scan fussy cut my image for me and I popped it up with foam tape for added dimension. Lots of glitter on this card using some Crystal Stickles and a glitter pen. I added the sentiment and some enamel dots to finish my card.

Cocoa Gnome!

Happy Tuesday!
Oh my gosh! I absolutely love this adorable Gnome from High Hopes Stamps called: "Cocoa Gnome"!  Lora opened the vault for this re-release of previously retired stamps and is calling it "Winter Wonderland"! I'm a morning coffee drinker but love a hot beverage at night and hot cocoa is often my go to! No marshmallows for me but I'll take that gingerbread cookie LOL!
I decided to use papers for my card from the Polkadoodles "HOHO Gnome" & "Gnome Season" 6x6 collections. To start my card, I stamped the image onto some Copic friendly paper and coloured it to match the papers with my Copic Sketch markers. Then using my Brother Cut N Scan I cut around the image. I added a heart border to each side of the middle strip of paper for a fun look. I added the HH "Gnome For Christmas" sentiment to the bottom corner. Both the sentiment and image are popped up with foam squares for added dimension to my card. I love glitter, so I added some Diamond Stickles to the Gnome's hat. A bit or ribbon, bow and enamel dots finish off my card.

Penguin Tag!

Happy Tuesday!
It's another exciting month over at High Hopes Rubber Stamps with the Woodland Winter Release. These are images that were previously retired and are so adorable, they just had to see the light of day again! Meet the adorable "Penguin Tag"! You all know I love penguins as they remind me of my Grandma. She would have loved to receive this tag on her Christmas present. You can use "Penguin Tag" as a tag or as an image on a card, it's perfect for both!
I started my tag by stamping the image onto some Copic friendly paper and using my Copic Sketch markers coloured it in. Next I cut the image out using my Brother Cut N Scan. I stamped the "Merry Christmas" sentiment onto the sign, it fit perfectly! Gina Marie has some really cool dies and I used the Arched Stitched Tag die to cut out my background. The snowflake is from a Christmas card I got last year that I repurposed on my tag. A green tree die cut was put behind my popped up image. I added Crystal Stickles to the Penguin's hat and a glitter pen to the embossed parts of the tree die cut. Using my Crop-a-dile Hole Punch I punched a hole in the top of the tag and added 2 strands of ribbon. Some diamond gem stones add the perfect finishing touch.
On the backside I hand printed "to" and "from" and I plan to use this on a present this Christmas.
Copics Used:
Penguin: C0, C6, C8, C9/ YR21, YR24
Blue: B02, B04, B05
Green: YG03, YG05, YG06
Red: R46, R85
