RAOK Cards!

Happy Day!!

I want to share with you today a group of 21 little cards (2.5 x 3.5") that I created to be used as a Random Act of Kindness (RAOK). We live in such an awesome community and I wanted to surprise and hopefully bring a smile to someone's face. I've been working on this project for a little while now. I find I would work away at it in-between other projects but last week went full out and finished them all! Now to just randomly leave them places for someone to find!

I love the fun and cute images that I used and paper from my stash! Each card has some sort of embellishment. It could be enamel dots, Stickles or a bow.

This set is made from the Gerda Steiner Designs "Turtley Great" stamp set.

I love the sentiments that are included with the set!

These cuties are from Craftin Desert Divas. Unfortunately when I went to link the images she has closed her shop.

Love these birds from Your Next Stamp called "Spring Birds"

On these cuties I made ink blend cloud backgrounds!

This set of stamps is from Simple Stories and is called "Happy Kids".

The stamp set doesn't have sentiment with it so I looked through my stash and used the ones shown.

I made all my little envelopes using the We R Memory Keepers "Envelope Punch Board".

I put a little note I printed from my computer on the inside that says "lease enjoy this random act of kindness. Pay it forward with a RAOK of your own". On the back of the card instead of using my personalized stamp, I made a sticker that says "Kindness is a gift that everyone can afford to give". After all I don't want anyone to know who the card is from.

Each envelope is sealed with a sticker I made that just says "Random Act of Kindness". Now I must tell you both the stickers are not my design but something I found online, downloaded the image and then printed it on some sticker paper that I had.

Welcome to the Pumpkin Patch!

Hello!

Just popping in today with another super cute Fall themed card using the Craftin Desert Divas digital stamp called "Pumpkin Patch Scarecrow"!

I started out by sizing and printing my Digital image onto some Copic XPress-It paper and colouring it in with my Copic markers. I used my Brother Cut N Scan to cut the image out and popped it up with foam squares onto my pumpkin card base. You can find the pumpkin card base in the Silhouette Design store. The paper is from the Echo Park Autumn Song 6x6 collection. Some brown twine and white gel pen finishes everything off.

What Did the Turkey Say?

Hi CDD Fans!

So what did the Turkey say?....... He said "EAT MORE PORK" lol! This adorable digital stamp is from Craftin Desert Divas and is called "Eat More Pork Turkey". with The Canadian T thanksgiving just around the corner, I'm sure there are a few more Turkey's saying the same thing!!

I am also playing along with the Craftin Desert Diva's September Mood Board Challenge.

I decided to use papers from the Doodlebug Fall Friends 6x6 collection! The colours fit perfectly with the #cddmonthly Challenge! I am also using the CDD Fancy Frames to create the layout for this adorable card!

Autumn Delight Girl!

Hi CDD Friends!

I'm back with another post inspired by the Craftin Desert Divas September Mood Board Challenge.

My inspiration for my card came from the apples and the teal colours. 

I decided to do something totally different with the CDD "Autumn Delight Girl" digital stamp. Since digital stamps allow you to re size them to whatever you'd like, I decided to make her large and into a "stand alone" card. I used my Brother Cut N Scan to cut around my image and to cut out 2 extra blank outline pieces. The finished size is approximately 7x5.5. After I coloured her with my Copic Markers I added one of the extra white outlines to the back of her to cover up any ink that had bled through. Then I glued just the very top of the image to the remaining blank outline. This allowed me to score the top so that the card would be a top opening card. 

I thought this card would be perfect for my Granddaughter who is 9 months. The large size allows little hands to explore it!

I also cut out an extra set of hair bows and popped them up for some dimension.

I used the "Happy Birthday" sentiment for the CDD "Simply Said" stamp set on the inside.

September Mood Board Challenge!

Hello CDD Fans!
Today I'm over on the Craftin Desert Diva's Facebook Group sharing this cute card inspired by the September Monthly Mood Board Challenge!

The Fox, colours and arrows of this picture were my inspiration for this card!

Meet "Java Fox" who is a digital stamp. I decided to use papers from the Echo Park "Story of Fall" 6x6 collection. I coloured my image with Copic Sketch Markers and then cut it our using my Brother Cut N Scan machine. Lots of layers and a bow finish off my card!

Flower Power!

Hi CDD Fans!

I'm sharing another card with you today inspired by the Craftin Desert Divas August Mood Board Challenge.

I was inspired with the top right picture of the flowers. I am using the CDD Digital Stamp called "Flower Power".

I had the idea in my head of making a flower border down the side of my card. It took quite a bit of work to size the flowers differently and place them overlapping each other. I love how it turned out though! With Digital stamps the sky is the limit to what you can create! I used my Silhouette machine to cut out my flower border. There is lot's of glitter added too using Diamond Stickles to the flowers and butterflies. I took a piece of white patterned vellum and placed it over a piece of blue cardstock. I made a frame from the CDD Inside Scallop Squares die and added the "Hugs" sentiment from the CDD "Simply Said" sentiment set. A few enamel dots finished it all off!

Back To School!

Hello CDD Fans!

Summer is almost over and it's getting close to that time of year again here in Ontario when the kids go back to school! When I saw this Craftin Desert Diva's "School Bus" Digital stamp I knew it was the perfect time to make a card with it! Nothing sweeter than these little critters on the bus that's for sure!

Of course I had to use more Doodlebug paper! It's my favourite company, I just love their bright fun papers! The "Back To School" 6x6 collection had the perfect papers to compliment my card! I added a fun ruler themed ribbon, bow and apple brad to finish things off!

Trunk Full Of Love!

Welome!

It's time to post again on the Craftin Desert Diva's Gallery over on Facebook with my card inspired by the August Monthly Mood Board!

When I look at the Mood Board it reminds me of a Birthday so I decided to create my card with the "Birthday Elephant" Digital stamp.

I decided to use papers from the Doodlebug Dragon Tails 6x6 paper pad. It has balloons and ice-cream cones that fit with the mood board.  I printed out my image and cut it out with a die from the CDD Fancy Frames set. The scalloped border die is from the CDD Landscape 2 die set.

This super cute sentiment came with the digital stamp.
