ICU!

Hello!
My neighbour recently had surgery so I pulled out my Art Impressions stamp set called "Get Well"! You can count on Art Impressions to come up with a fun set to make someone laugh! This image always makes me giggle!
After stamping the images onto some Copic friendly paper, I used my Copic Markers to colour it in. I decided to use papers from my "Scraps Stash" on this card as they were perfect for a male theme. I cut around the image using a die from the Gina Marie's "Big and Little Pierced Dot Rectangle" set. Some enamel dots and twine finish off my 5.5" square card.
Here's the decorated inside with another sentiment from the set.
Copics Used:

G'Day Mate!

Howdy!
Today I am sharing a slimline card I made using the adorable set of "Koala" images from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alveraz. I hope to someday get to Australia to see these cuties in person!
I downloaded, sized and printed my Koala's onto Copic Friendly Paper. Then using my Copic markers I coloured them in. Taking some Copic solution and a rag, I dabbed at the images to create a fun fur texture. I cut a piece of watercolor paper and using the SSS Delicate Flowers stamp set, embossed some leaves onto my paper. Next using Distress Oxide Ink in Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover, I blended them over the embossed leaves to create a background paper. Then using Distress Ink in Mowed Lawn and a watercolor brush, I added the deeper colour to each leave to make them stand out a bit more. I cut out circles and some lacey circles for the Koala's to sit in. The leaf background is popped up with foam tape and the cut out circles are inlaid.
Here's the inside of my card. The sentiments I used today are from the SSS "Koalaty Friend" stamp set. They matched with the Kinda Cute Koala's perfectly.
Copics Used:
E43, E44, E47
R02, R20

From Our Gnome To Yours!

It's Tuesday!!
Tuesday means that I am over on the High Hopes Blog sharing another card! Meet "Snowy Gnome" from the August 2020 release over at High Hopes Stamps. Gnomes are all the rage right now and Snowy Gnome fits right in with the "gnome obsession"! I was in love with Gnomes and Fairies growing up, and I think that's why this guy holds a special place in my heart!
I stamped and coloured "Snowy Gnome" with my Copic markers and cut him out using my Brother Cut N Scan. I love these papers from the Polkadoodles "Ho Ho Gnome" 6x6 collection. I want to hoard this paper but "Snowy Gnome" deserved to be used on them! The HH Sentiment called "From Our Gnome" is just perfect for this card! I cut it in half and used the other part of the sentiment on the inside of my card.
Here's the decorated inside with the other half of the "From Our Gnome" sentiment.
Copics Used:

Magical Day!

Hello!
Today I'm sharing a card I made using the "Dragon Set" from  Stamping Bella. These little guys are just adorable and so versatile! You could use them for anything from a birthday card to a baby card! These adorable "Dragons" make me believe in the magic of your imagination!
I started by stamping the images with Memento ink and coloured them with my Copic Markers. Using the matching set of Dragon Dies, I cut these cuties out using my Big Shot. I decided on papers from the Doodlebug "Dragon Tails" 6x6 collection. After gluing the circles die to my background I added 2 different patterned papers to the cut out holes. The dragons are popped up with foam tape for added dimension. I decided to use a sentiment from the Stamping Bella "Dragon Sentiments" set. Some matching twine and enamel dots finish off my card.

Good Times!

Hello Friends!
Who doesn't love a group of bunnies, especially these cuties!! Although..... I have to admit a "group" of bunnies in my garden is not ideal. They are eating like Kings LOL! But in the Spring the baby bunnies are just adorable! This image called "Bunny Family" is from the August 2020 Release over at High Hopes Stamps! I just love all the expressions on their faces!
I coloured each bunny differently using my Copic Sketch markers. Then using my Brother Cut N Scan, I cut around the image and also made a background layer. I popped the image up with foam squares for added card dimension. I used papers from the Doodlebug "Fun In the Sun" 6x6 collection. I used the High Hopes sentiment called "Good Times". All the bows have some Wink of Stella clear pen added to them. A cute ribbon bow (Thanks Donna) and some enamel dots finish off my card!
Copics Used:
Bunny #1: C2, C3, C5, C7/ BG45, BG53, BG57

Marshmallows Anyone?

Welcome!
These are officially my first Christmas cards of 2020! I love these cute digi's from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alveraz! We've been having lots of backyard camp fires and when I saw the "Snowman and Marshmallow" image, it reminded me of us roasting marshmallows and making S'mores.
Snowmen are one of my favourite Christmas/ Winter images to use! I decided to make a bright fun card and then a more traditional one.
For this more traditional card, I used papers from the Echo Park "Celebrate Christmas" 6x6 collection. I cut the image out with a Spellbinders labels 28 die and backed it with red cardstock. I used some Liquid Applique to resemble snow. You add it to your card, let it dry and then heat it using your heat gun. The appliqué then fluffs up!
Papers from the Doodlebug "Christmas Magic" 6x6 collection were perfect for my card. Doodlebug always has such bright and fun designer papers! I cut the image out using a Gina Marie Double Roped Oval die. This time for the snow I used some Stampendous "Spoonful of Snow". I added it with some glue and then heat set it. It melts into a pretty glistening look of snow.
Copics Used:
Snowmen: C00, C0, C1,, C7, C9, YR04, YR09, E44
Boy: R37, R59, R89, G94, G99
Girl: RV52, RV55, YG17, YG23, YG25
Fire: E43, E44, YR04, YR09, YR15

Honey Bee Farm Fresh Flowers!

Hello!
I'm so glad you stopped by today! I'm sharing a couple cards I created using the Honey Bee "Farm Fresh Flowers" stamp set.
I had so much fun using the Honey Bee "Thin Circle Frame" dies on my cards here, that I just had to play with them again! I stamped the images onto some water colour paper with embossing ink and added Wow Opaque Bright White embossing powder. After melting the powder with my heat gun, I used some Tombow markers and a water brush to colour the images in. It was hard to photograph as the white powder has a shine to it when melted and the camera picked that up more than the colour. After the images were dry, I cut them out using the matching "Farm Fresh Flowers Dies".
I used the Circle Thin Frames on this card and a doily for my main background. I popped both the flowers and the vase up with foam squares.

On this card only the flowers are popped up with foam squares. I coloured the vase with some Gasnai Tambi Silver water based pigment from the Starry Skies collection.

Dragon Flight!

Happy Tuesday!
I'm back today sharing another image from the High Hopes "August 2020" Release! I absolutely love this "Dragon Flight" image! I mean does it get any cuter than this dragon?!!
I stamped and coloured my image with my Copic Markers and then cut "Dragon Flight" out with my Brother Cut N Scan. Next I die cut out a white piece and added a stencilled cloud background! I used the Honey Bee Thin Circle Frame dies to make this cute little rainbow. I added some die cut clouds on each end of the rainbow. The Sunny Studios "Preppy Prints" 6x6 collection was perfect to use in the background. I popped my Dragon up with an action wobble for a fun interactive element. I used the High Hopes sentiment called "Coloured With Love" and cut it apart to make it fit onto my card.
Copics Used:
Dragon: BV08, BV09, BV17, V000, V00 / YG17, YG23, G28
Flower: Y35, Y38,  YR24, E55, YG17
Here's a short video showing "Dragon Flight" in action!
Since the Honey Bee Circle Thin Frame die cuts out 21 pieces, I couldn't let the "scraps" from my rainbow go to waste. I created These 2 additional cards for fun!
I used the same HH sentiment called "Coloured With Love" in 2 different ways on my cards!

Lets Read!

Hi!
I'm not sure about anyone else, but Covid has enabled me to read more! Since I'm not going out as much, I've been devouring books. I love the quiet relaxing time spent readingon my deck! Meet the adorable digi called "Mermaid Reading" by Patricia Alveraz for Kinda Cute Digital Stamps!
I printed "Mermaid Reading" onto some Copic friendly paper and coloured her in with my Copic Markers. Next I used dies from the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Scallop Nesting Tag set. Using these fun papers from the Doodlebug "Under the Sea" 6x6 collection, I created my card layout! It's hard to see but on her tail there are little dots of silver gel pen for a fun look. The tags are popped up with foam tape for added dimension to my card. A bit of Stickles on her hair and a ribbon bow finish off my card.
I used more of the Doodlebug "Under the Sea" papers on my decorated inside.
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E21, E95, R20
Hair: E43, E44, E47, E49
Mermaid's top: RV17, RV19

Welcome!
Today is the start of the August 2020 Release over at High Hopes Stamp! I know you're just as excited about this as I am! I mean we just had a release last month and now another one...... it just doesn't get better than this! I'm the lucky one to kick off the New Release using the oh so adorable "Butterfly Chick"! This is just the sweetest little chick ever!
I stamped this "Butterfly Chick" onto Copic friendly paper and used my Copic Sketch Markers to colour it in. I chose papers from the C.C. Designs "Hearts and Dots" and Sunny Studios "Gingham Pastels" 6x6 collections. The "Smiling" sentiment is one of my favourite High Hopes sentiments. Perfect for so many different cards! I used a few different dies to create this layout and added a bit of twine to finish it off!

Smile!

Hello!
Popping in to share this card I made using the "Fancy Floral 1" and "Fancy Floral 2" dies from Pink Fresh Studio. I have to admit these dies are another one of my "hoards" lol. I always see new things, order them and then stash them away. After a while I forget I have them and I have been known to reorder things I already have LOL (shhh don't tell hubby).
What I love about these Floral dies is that you can use them separately or layered together! Both ways are just as pretty as the other!
I started by cutting 2 pieces of watercolour paper slightly bigger than the frames. Then using my Distress Oxide inks, I blended different colours on each layer. Once that dried, I cut the Floral Frames using my die cutting machine.
Distress Oxide Inks Used:
Twisted Citron
Bundled Sage
Cracked Pistachio

Broken China
Picked Raspberry
Tumbled Glass
Peacock Feathers
I added a plain blue/green cardstock background under the frame layers. I added the "smile" die cut onto the middle of an embossed strip of paper. Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink was used on the embossed strip. I love how quick and easy this card came together!
