One of my craft "resolutions" was to try to enter into more card challenges. So today I designed this card to enter into:
- Tilda's Town: Challenge #120 Special Occasion
- Stamp and Create with Magnolia: Challenge # 43 Chevrons
- Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Stamp It
- Kit And Clowder: September Colour Palette Inspiration
- 7 Kids College Fund: Challenge #107 Anything Goes with a Twist of Die-alicious
- pick out the papers you want to use
- stamp your image with Memento ink in Tuxedo Black on Copic friendly paper
- colour the image with Copic sketch markers that compliment your paper choices
- fussy cut out your image
- I used a 5 1/2" square pre-made card
- cut your base layer of card stock at 5 1/2" x 5 1/2"
- cut your patterned paper piece at 5 3/8 x 5 3/8"
- using your metal dies cut out your desired shapes (I use a Cuttlebug machine)
- Ink all your paper edges with Distress Ink in your choice of colour
- glue everything onto your base layer but don't attach to the pre-made card yet
- add your ribbon, I just tape it onto the back of the base layer
- now glue your base to the pre-made card
- pop dot your image so it stands out and adds dimension
- assemble the inside of your card
- add any embellishments to the front and inside of your card
- last step for me always is to add any thing "wet" like Stickles or glossy accents as since you are finished with your card they will have time to dry
