Tombow USA and Art Impressions Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Tomboy USA and Art Impressions Blog Hop!

You probably arrived here from the Art Impressions’ Blog, but if you stumbled across my blog or got lost along the way, you can always go back to the beginning and start over!

Here's the card I made for the " Hop!"

I am using the Art Impressions set that is available through your local Michaels's store. It's called "His and Hers Gardening set". It's super cute and comes with 6 images and 3 sentiments! Great value for your dollar as you can use the stamps in a multitude of ways!

First I made a side stair step card using a tutorial I found on YouTube. Once that was done I used the Tombow Mono Adhesive Permanent tape to attach my design papers to the cardstock layer. Then I used the Tombow Mono Multi Liquid glue to attach the layers to the card base.

I decided to use some of the new Tombow Foam Tape to adhere the images to my card base that I wanted to "pop" up to add some dimensional interest.

I cut the Foam Tape in half to use on my Fence.

Normally I would glue my images to my product but this time I decided to try the new Tombow Adhesive dots. I must say they are quick, super easy to use and hold great!

I paper pieced part of each person's clothing in matching design paper from the 6x6 pad!

May Challenge at One Crazy Stamper

Happy First of May!

Today starts a new Challenge over at One Crazy Stamper! The challenge for May is "Anything Goes" and we'd love to see your projects! You can use any stamp you want except digital images. You have all month to play along, so go get busy and link up your designs! (first read my blog though LOL)

For my challenge post I decided to use the High Hopes Part Time Gardener and the Sunshine and Sunflowers stamps. I used one of my new 6x6 paper pads called Vintage Bliss by Simple Stories. I coloured up this cutie pie with my Copic Sketch markers and paper pieced her dress with coordinating paper from the 6x6 pad. I cut out the embellishments from one of the papers in the pad and popped them up on my card with foam dots. Using the C.C. Designs Corner die I made the corner banner and also used foam dots to adhere it to the card. Some twine bows and of course Clear Wink of Stella on the watering can and flowers to finish off my card!
