Today I am sharing with you a super cute card I designed to enter into the Tiddly Inks Design Team call! Tiddly Inks is a great company that offers digital stamps, digital paper and clear stamps designed by Christy Croll. I tried to be true to my New Years resolution and use items from my stash! The doily, ribbon and lace all have been sitting in my craft room and it was finally time to use them!
I decided to use the Celebrate Joyfully stamp set. The little girl's name is Emma and I think she is just super adorable! I stamped Emma onto some Copic friendly paper then added the flower and grass stamp to one side of her. I used a masking technique to carry the grass all the way across the stamped images. Instead of colouring her dress I decided to paper piece the dress with matching paper from my paper choices.
I love all the layers on this card and I popped Emma up with foam squares to add even more dimension to this card. I also inked all the edges of my papers with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo. I always think that helps the paper pop and seems to just make the card look more finished.
Here's the inside of the card!
