Flowers For You!

Happy Saturday!
It's my turn to do a Saturday Post over on the Digi Doodle Facebook Group. I decided to use the Digi Doodle Studios digital image called "Keira and Her Puppy" for my card today. I love this adorable image and that would be my fur baby Stella, peeking out from behind my legs Lol. Stella would be barking though (Ha Ha).
To start, I downloaded the digital image and resized it to my liking. Then I printed it off on some Copic friendly paper and coloured "Keira" with my Copic Sketch Markers. I fussy cut out the digital image using my Brother Cut N Scan and popped it up with foam tape for added dimension.
My paper choices are from the Echo Park "I Heart Crafting" 6x6 collection. I added Black Stickles to all the flower centres and the polka dots on her dress and bow. A bit of twine and a bow finished off my design.

Little Love Birds!

Hello Digi Doodle Fans!
I'm popping in today to share with you these adorable digital stamps from Digi Doodle Studios called "Little Love Birds". Aren't they just the cutest pair ever? What I like about them is that you could use them for many different card themes. Think "Miss You", "Hello", "Anniversary", "Love", the possibilities are endless!
I decided to colour these cuties in a bold fun colour. The Doodlebug "French Kiss" 6x6 collection was my inspiration, and I coloured them to match the papers. After I downloaded the digital image, re sized it and printed it off on my printer, I coloured "Little Love Birds" with my Copic Sketch Markers. I cut out the image with a Stitched Tag die and popped it up with foam tape onto my layered design. A bit of Crystal Stickles on the heart leaves finished off my card.
In the top corner I added this sentiment from the Digi Doodle digital "Love N' Hugs" sentiment collection, using a circle die.
Copics Used:
B21, B26, B28, B29
RV17, RV19
YR04, YR09

I layered all my designer papers with cordinating cardstock and used this layout I found on Pinterest under "card sketches". The sentiment is from the Digi Doodle Studios "Cutie Paws" digital sentiment collection.A piece of ribbon, flower and some glitter pen finish off my card.

Digi Doodle Studios June Challenge!

Hello Everyone!
Today marks the start of a new Challenge over on the Digi Doodle Studios Challenge Blog for June. You have all month to create something with the theme of "Special Day". Think Father's Day, birthday, wedding, anniversaries. Today I am using the DDS digital stamp called "Valentino"  to celebrate Father's Day.
I started by sizing and then printing my digital image with my printer. Then using my Copic Markers coloured "Valentino" in to match my papers. I hand drew in some plaid lines for a fun look to his top. The designer papers are also from Digi Doodles and are called "Coffee Break". I made the sentiment up myself on my computer and printed it. I thought it went well with the image. My card layout was created using an older MFT Blueprints 1 die set. I don't think it's available anymore but sure helps make your layout come together fast. I decided to ink all the edges of my papers with some Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I think it helps make everything pop a bit more.
On the inside of my card, I used some of the leftover "Coffee Break" papers to decorate it and added a sentiment from the DDS "Encouragement" digital sentiments collection.

Here is the original Valentino digital image from Digi Doodle Studios. I have to admit a "boo boo" I made LOL. I wasn't paying attention when I cut the image out with My Brother Cut N Scan, and made a mess of the hearts. I had already coloured my image and didn't want to waste it, so I left the hearts off. Valentino is much cuter with the heart song notes coming from the birds. Lesson learned lol!
Copics Used:
Skin: E01, E11, E21, R20
Hair and stump: E31, E35, E47, E49, E57
Outfit: BG 93, BG97, BG99, C1
Birds: B25, B28, B29
Guitar: E51, E53, E55, E57

Just A Note!

Happy Saturday!
Today I am sharing a fun interactive card with you using the adorable Digi Doodle Studios "Swinging Hearts" digital stamp!
I printed the image with my Printer and then coloured her in with my favourite..... Copic Markers! After she was coloured I fussy cut her out. Using my new MFT "Interactive Swing" die set, I created the tree tops and the swinging mechanism. I added some cool purple clouds using the MFT Mini Cloud Stencil and some Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink. A little grassy edge finished everything off.
The sentiments on the front and the inside are from the DDS "Encouragement" digital sentiment collection. A bit of the leftover paper cut with a border die finish the inside off nicely.
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E01, E11, R20,

Love Letters!

Hello Digi Doodle Fans!
Today I am sharing this adorable card using the Digi Doodles "Love Letters" digital stamp! This sweetie is perfect for anyone you want to send a bit cheer to or to let them know how much you love them!
I printed the "Love Letters" digital stamp using my Printer and coloured it in using my Copic Markers. Then I cut her out with a Scallop Tag die and popped her up with some foam tape over my paper layers. I added some Crystal Stickles to all the tiny hearts for a bit of sparkle.
I'm not sure if you noticed but I made a "boo boo" LOL! I accidentally coloured the centre of her hair bow as if it were part of her hair. I never noticed until I took my pictures and by then it was too late LOL. So "shhhh" don't tell the boss (*wink*)
I love to decorate the inside of my cards for an extra bit of a surprise to the recipient. On the front of my card and on the inside I added sentiments from the DDS "Love n' Hugs" digital sentiment collection. Just love that font!
Copics Used:
Skin: E01, E11, E04, R20, RV17
Hair: YR24, YR27, E07, E08, E18

It's my turn to today post over on the Digi Doodle Studios Facebook Page. This digital stamp is called "Kenzie & Kona Lap Dog"! Isn't Kenzie adorable? And that sweet Kona is lapping up all the attention Kenzie is giving her!
Todays paper is from the new Lawn Fawn Spring Fling 6x6 collection.  I made a little cloud background using Distress Oxide Ink with Worn Lipstick and a MFT Cloud Stencil. The flowers and her hair ribbon have Crystal Stickles on them for a bit of glimmer.
I popped Kenzie & Kona up to look like they are setting on the fence enjoying the day.
I used some of the paper scraps to decorate the inside and added a sentiment from the Digi Doodles "Cutie Paws" digital collection. You get 10 pet sentiments in the download!

Congratulations!

Hi DDS Fans!
The theme this month over on the Digi Doodle Studios Challenge Blog is "Anything Goes". I decided since it's Spring and that always reminds me of babies that I would make a "Baby Themed" card to have in my stash. Meet "Hadley Hippo" from the Digi Doodle Studios,  "Bundle Of Joy" digital stamp collection.
I am using papers today from the Echo Park "Hello Baby, It's  Girl" 6x6 collection. I printed my image, coloured it and cut it out with my Brother Cut N Scan machine. I inked all the edges of my papers with Vintage Photo Distress Ink for some added dimension. Some glitter pen and a few die cut clouds finish off my card. The glitter never shows up in photos for me but true e it's there lol.
My sentiments today are from the Digi Doodle "Bundle of Joy" digital sentiment collection. You get 18 sentiments in the collection, what a great value! I added the "Congratulations" to the banner before I printed my image. Here you can also see the added dimension by popping the image and sentiment up with foam squares.
Copics Used:
Hadley: C0, C1, C3, R01
Clouds: RV91, RV93, RV95
Outfit: BG53, BG57, R21, R22
Balloons: R20, R21, R22/ Y13, Y15, Y18/ BG53, BG57
