Vintage Vibe!

Hello Ai Fans

Today is a brand new release day over at Art Impression Stamps! Ai has a new line called Ai Vintage, which as the name states are "vintage" images. Today I am using the Bathing Suit Set (sku#4589). They are so cute and will go perfectly with all the vintage papers on the markets these days!

I tried to make the card look vintage as well. I inked the edges of all the papers with Tim Holtz Distress ink  in Vintage Photo. I also added a doily, lace and some pearls to add to the vintage vibe. This time instead of totally colouring the whole image, I paper pieced the tops and one bowler a change and to match the papers.

 Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E11, R20, RV25, B91, BG11

Easter Greetings!

Hello Everyone!

Today is my day to post over on the High Hopes Stamps Blog. I decided to get another Easter card made as Easter is just around the corner. It seems early this year so I need to get busy creating! This card showcases the super cute Bunny with Tulip and the sentiment Blessed Easter Script.

The paper I used is from my stash so I don't think it's available anymore (sorry). I'm trying to use up what I have instead of buying more (Hubby's idea LOL). The design of this card is really simple, just a few die cuts, ribbon and Stickles.
Simple inside of card!

Copics Used:
Bunny: E50, E51, E53
Inside of ears: R20, R21
Nose & eyes: Black Sakura gel pen
Pads on feet: W0, W1, W3
Bow: RV23, RV25, RV29, stickles
Tulip: Y15, Y18
Leaves: YG06, YG07
Flower pot: B02, YR12, YR15
Around image: B000
Ground: W0, W1

Whew, It's Not My Birthday!

Hello My Dear Followers!

It's my turn over on the Art Impressions Blog to post. So today I'm sharing with you a simple card using the Millie (sku#1932) stamp and What A Feelin' (sku#1942) sentiment stamp from Art Impressions. I love this old gal and how she is jumping for joy!

The paper I used is older and from my stash. I inked all the edges of the papers with Tim Holtz mini distress ink in peacock feathers. My only embellishments this time was a few pearls, Wink of Stella in clear glitter on Millie's skirt and Glossy Accents on her glasses.

I love this sentiment! It's a great feeling when it's not your birthday, especially as the years are adding up these days! I kept the inside simple and added a small part of Millie stamped in peacock feathers distress ink to the bottom corner of the card.

Copics used:
Skin: E00, E11, R20, RV17
Hair: E43, E44, E47
Top: BG11, BG13, BG15
Skirt & ruffles: R22, R24
Shoes: C1, C3
Ground: C0, C1
Shadow around image: BG000

Bunny Blooms

Howdy!

Today starts another new challenge over on the  High Hopes Stamps Blog. The Challenge this month is "Anything Goes". I decided to get a start on my Easter cards. This card uses the High Hopes image Bunny Blooms, and sentiment Blessed Easter Script.

I've had this die for awhile now and finally decided to use it! I love all the circles and filled them with coordinating paper from the Doodle Bug "Hello Sunshine" 6x6 paper pad.
Inside of card

Instead of colouring the bunny with my Copic markers I decided to paper piece him. Paper piecing is such a fun technique and easy to do! Just stamp your image onto patterned paper and fussy cut it out. Then all you have to do is glue it onto a pre-stamped image. I did colour a bit with my markers though. There's a little bit of clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pen on the tulips.

Copics Used:
Tulips: RV23, RV25, RV29, Y13, Y15, Y17
Inside of ears & cheeks: R20, R21
Nose & eyes: Black Sakura Gel pen
Teeth: White Uniball marker pen

Don't forget to enter in our new challenge! It's on all month so you have lots of time! Just remember you need to use a High Hopes Stamp. You can use the free digital stamp or visit the stores below and order your own.
