Graduation Time!

Hi everyone!
 Graduation is right around the corner for 2 of my favourite people! Both my Nephew and my Cousin's Daughter (I like to think she's mine on loan to my Cuz, LOL) are graduating from Grade 8! I have no clue where the time went, as I  remember like it was yesterday when they were born! I'm not getting older am I? 

I used the set from Your Next Stamp called Grad Kids. It has the 2 images as well as 2 sentiments in the set. I coloured the images with my Copic Sketch Markers, and then fussy cut them out with detail scissors. I added some ribbon and twine to each card. I thought for my nephews card He would appreciate the twine, as it's not so "girly" LOL. I added some YNS Gumdrops to finish it off.

Hair girl: E31, E33, E35, E37

Hair Boy: E43, E44, E47

Hats & Robes: N3, N5, N7, N9

Blues: B24, B26, B28

Reds: R24, R27

Just a simple inside of the card using one of the included sentiments. I stamped the sentiment with embossing ink and then sprinkled silver embossing powder on it. I used my heat tool to set the ink and powder.

The Grill Father!

Happy Friday!

 There is a new Challenge over on the Art Impressions Blog called "For The Fella's". With Father's day right around the corner it's the perfect time to check out all the male themed images at Art Impressions. I just love this image called "The Grill Father" He just cracks me up for some reason!

For this image I decided to only use the Copic Marker colours in the "E's". I thought it might be a bit tricky but it actually was quite easy and fun!

For The Fella's

Hello Ai Fans!

Today starts a new Challenge over on the Art Impressions Blog called "For the Fella's". I decided to use the Ai stamp set called "Weekend Warrior" (sku# 4378). This guy just makes me giggle as it reminds me of my Hubby all decked out when he decides to fix something! I think he just knows that I like it when he wears a tool belt LOL! I raided his garage for a few small nuts to add as an embellishment.

I just love these dies from MFT called Die-namics Tool Charms! I think they add the perfect touch to finish off this card as well as my "stolen" nuts!
