Gabriel Loves Tubing!

OH MY! This adorable stamp from High Hopes Stamps is called "Gabriel Loves Tubing" reminds me so much of my Nephew when he was little at the cottage! My Dad would pull him around behind the small boat for hours. And if he wasn't behind the boat he was tied to the dock just floating around LOL. 

My layout is a simple design only using 2 designer papers and matching cardstock. I used papers from Doodlebug's Sunkissed collections. I added some twine, enamel dots and Clear Wink of Stella to the waves to finish my design. The sentiment is from the "Sentiment #4" set.

Happy 80th Birthday!

Hi Everyone!

I made this card for my Mother in law's 80th birthday. She is such a sweetheart and she really doesn't look or act 80! She is a very kind lady who welcomed me into her family with open arms! I've known

 her now for 12 years and she's the same now as when I first met her! 

I used my new Simon Says Stamp "Circle Sayings" set to make this a shaker card. I used paper from one of my favourite papers Pink Paislee's Bella Rouge 6x6 collection. I love the sequins you can get from Pretty Pink Posh! Her colour combinations are awesome! 

I added some paper flowers along with some pearl sprays as my embellishments.

I used one of the smaller SSS Circle sayings on the inside.

We had a lovely surprise Party For her Saturday with all her 4 children, their spouses, 6 of her Grandchildren and 2 of her Great Grandchildren in attendance! She was completely surprised and thrilled that we all got together! Family really is what it's all about!

It's A Boy!

Friends of ours just became new Grandparents for the first time! It's such an exciting time for their family right now. I wanted to make a special keepsake card for the new arrival. I used the C.C. Designs image from the Swiss Pixie collection called "Baby Boy". This stamp sees to be my go to stamp for making Baby Boy cards! I just think he is super adorable!

I used designer paper from the Doodlebug Snips and Snails collection. Lots of die cuts add to the layout of my design. I personalized my card by adding Cohen's name and birth weight.
