Create A Set

Hello Ai Fans!
It's the second week of the Ai Challenge "Create A Set"! As soon as I heard about the theme of this Challenge I knew I wanted to make a set with a note card holder. I've had this Birdhouse Neighbourhood stamp for awhile and was waiting for the perfect time to use it. This challenge was the "perfect time"!

I used a piece of 12 x 12 patterned paper from my stash and some 4 x 5.5" pre made kraft paper cards. I layered my papers with a dark brown cardstock and added some twine with a bow.

The sentiment inside is called "Thought of You" and matches the script used on the Birdhouse stamp.

I made the note card holder from a piece of Kraft cardstock. The note card holder design I can't take credit for designing. I followed a tutorial I found on Pinterest, you can find it here. I used a decorative punch along the top and cut a hole out at the top using an oval die cut. A matching piece of ribbon to tie it shut finished my whole project off.

Willy's Sandcastle

Hi High Hopes Stamps Fans!
Today I am sharing with you a couple cards I made using the HH stamp Willy's Sandcastle. I made a shaker card for my main card and just a simple design for the smaller card.

This time I am using papers from the Fancy Pant's Summer Sun 6x6 paper collection. I used the Spellbinder Lacey Circle's die and a MFT Circle Stax die to make the "window" of my shaker card. I always save everything and the clear window is made from the backing that some enamel dots came on (acetate). I filled the shaker with some Doodlebug sequins in colours that matched my card. Some ribbon and sequins finished off my card. The smaller card has a fussy cut out Willy, some ribbon and a few sequins.

Copics Used:
Willy: BG11, BG32, BG34
Life jacket & snorkel set: R21, R22, R24, YR02, YR04, YR07
Shorts: YR02, YR04, YR07

Plants: G14, G16
Sand: E30, E31, E33, E34, E35, E37

Forget Me Not!

Happy August First!

Where has the summer gone I can't believe it's August already! This month over on the One Crazy Stampers Blog we won't be having a monthly Challenge but instead August will have a theme called "Creative Inspiration", where the Design Team will hopefully inspire you! I chose to use the High Hopes image called Lenny's Love Me Nots. This little dragon is the cutest don't you think?!!
I decided to use papers from the Echo Park Sweet Summertime 6x6 collection. I stamped Lenny onto Copic paper and die cut it using the Memory Box Stitched Scalloped Circles. All the paper and journal card are from the paper collection. I used my computer to makes the little sentiment on the front. Of course I put Clear Wink of Stella on Lenny's wings, spots, flower and the little bird.A few YNS Gumdrops finished off my card.
On the inside I used the High Hopes sentiment called "One of those days".
Copics used:
Dragon: YG11, YG05, YG06, Y11, Y13, Y15
Flower: R21, R22, R24, Y15, G43, G46
Bird: BG01, BG02, BG05, YR04
Ground & toe nails: W0, W1, W3
outline: BG0000, BG000

I hope that you will follow us this month and see all the great inspiration the Design Team comes up with. Hopefully we will inspire you to get creative too!
Happy Stamping!
