Watercolour Minis & the New Easel Die from Ai

Hi Ai Fans!
It's the second week of our current Challenge over on the Ai blog! We want you to use water based inks and show us your amazing results! We also are celebrating the new Easel Dies that Ai has released.
I am still new to the whole watercoloring craze! I love how other crafters can create such beautiful works with water and ink. For me I am not even close yet LOL.... need to take a few classes I think!
I am using the new Ai Watercolor mini "Wooden Door" set and the "Scalloped Easel Die". The stamp set comes with 4 stamps so you can create your own scene in many different ways! My sentiment is from the Christmas Scene Tryfold set. I must say the Easel die is very easy to use and there is a great video giving you step by step instructions! Click here to go to the video.
The nice thing with this card is it folds flat for easy mailing!
I stamped my scene with Versafine ink onto watercolour paper. Using water and Distress inks I coloured in the image. Then I assembled the easel and attached my image and sentiment!

You still have a week to try your hand at watercoloring and upload your project to our Challenge!

Happy Stamping!

Joy Ride!

Look out everyone there's a new Claus in Town!
Here comes Bob and his wife motoring into Town all ready for Christmas! I can just picture the excitement they left in their wake! I mean who wouldn't stop to watch this cute fashionable couple cruise on by! This High Hopes image is called "Joyride".
Today I am using papers from the Carta Bella "Have a Merry Christmas" 6x6 collection. I cut a MFT Stitched Oval out in 2 sizes and layered them onto my A2 card. My image is cut out and popped up with foam squats for some added dimension. A bow, enamel dots and a Christmas tree brad (hard to see on the bow) finishes this project off.
On the inside I used the Stitched ovals again and stamped my sentiment "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" from High Hopes in red ink.

Carolers

Happy Saturday!
Today I'm sharing with you a card I made using the High Hopes Stamps "Carolers" image. This is from the new Joys of the Season collection.
For my card this time I challenged myself to not use any Designer paper. I took a piece of white cardstock and embossed a snowflake pattern onto it using my Big Shot. I added strips of Docraft metallic washi tape in black, gold and silver. A few snowflake embellishments and gold Stickle dots on the snowflake middles completed my card.
I did give in on the inside and used a small scrap of Designer paper LOL. The sentiment is also from High Hopes and is called "We Wish You a Merry Christmas".

Copics Used:
Skin: E000, E01, E31, R20
