Cheers!

Hello Ai Fans!
Who doesn't love a good glass of wine? This set from Art Impressions is called "Cheers To You" (#4664) and is super cute. I love that you get a stamp and matching sentiment! This adorable Gal makes a perfect wine tag to add to a Hostess gift when visiting over the Holidays! I made a matching card to go with it as well. I do apologize for the darker photos, I had a really hard time trying to photograph this and get the right lighting.
I decided to use paper from the Echo Park The Story Of Christmas 6x6 collection. I love the Poinsettia and its a die from My Favourite Things I've had for a few years now. I added Yellow Stickles to the flower middle and Crystal Stickles to the fur on her coat.

The tag was simple to make. I cut a piece of 7 3/4" x 2 3/4" cardstock and scored it at the 2 1/2" mark. From there I cut a hole in the small section to slip over the bottle neck. Then just decorate it however you see fit.
I tried a different skin colour for a change. I got the idea from a suggested site called The Human Rainbow by the talented Sandy Allnock. I actually printed off the page and coloured all the faces up. It was a really interesting "lesson" and used colour combinations I had never thought of!
Copics Used:
Skin: E11, E33, V15 / cheeks R22
Hair: E44, E47, E49
Reds: R35, R37, R39
Greens: G24, G28
Golds: Y23, Y26, Y28
Shoes: W3, W5, W7
I bought this paper collection fro Pebbles called Winter Wonderland and have been dying to use it so I decided to make a fun version of the "Cheers To You" set. The colours are so bright and fun and very non-traditional for Christmas!
This time I put the sentiment that comes with the set on the inside of my card.
The last fun detail for this card was to add Flower Soft in the colour Peony Pink to the fur on her coat! I love how it turned out!

Thanks for sticking it out for my long post today LOL!
Happy Friday!

Rudolph Red And Evergreen Challenge!

Hi Ai Fans!
Its a new Challenge over on the Art Impressions blog!
We want to see you create something new using the colors Red & Green ! Easy right?....especially with Christmas right around the corner! We are also celebrating the Release of 2 Ai sets of clear stamps in partnership with Hampton Arts that are found exclusively in Michaels stores!
Both sets are super cute and each come with images and sentiments to match!
I love when I find stuff in my stash that I bought last year for 70% off! I remembered these little glassine style bags and the red and green doilies I had bought at Michaels. I decided to pull them out and make little treat bags for some of my up coming Christmas goodies!
I folded the bags over and added a dolly that I folded in half. I used my hole punch to punch two holes in the top to run my ribbon through.
I masked off the cat after I stamped it and added the Christmas tree to make a tiny scene!
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E21, E95, R20
Hair: C1, C3, C5
Antlers: E43, E44, E47

Skating With Teddy!

Howdy!!
Happy Tuesday all! For today's card, I am using the super cute High Hopes Stamp called "Skating With Teddy". I also used the background stamp called "Winter Wonderland" and the sentiment called "Think Snow"! I always loved skating as a child and any spin or small jump I did, I thought I was Dorthy Hamill! (anyone remember her?)
I am using paper from the Pebbles Winter Wonderland 6x6 pad and some of the matching chipboard snowflakes. I added some Pink Taffeta Stickles to the trim on her hat and coat. A few pearls on the snowflakes and that just finished everything off. I used the memento Lilac Posies ink to stamp my sentiments in.
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E93, V12, R20
Hair and Teddy: E41, E43, E44, E47
Outfit: R81, R83, R85, R89
Teddy's hat & scarf: BG72, BG75, BG78
Trees: G20, G21/ G24, G82/ G46, G28
Skates: C1, silver Wink of Stella on blades
The inside sentiment is called "Holiday All Year".

Snowman Pile!

Happy Saturday!
Today I have a card to share with you that I made using my new Mini Minc Machine. I'm still a newbie with it  but I did manage to make something that I felt was good enough to share. With the Minc Machine you need to use Toner ink based items. What I did was use my Laser printer and printed off a stamped image of the High Hopes Stamps stamp called  "Snowman Pile". When I applied the foil, it was hard to actually see the foil as the lines are thin. I decided to colour in the outfits of the snowmen with a dark grey and then printed that off. This time the foil showed up much better. I printed everything in black and white at the darkest printer setting so that the toner would be dark and pick up the foil.
I also photocopied the Spellbinders Label 28 and then foiled the outline. When you actually use the die and cut it out, you get a foiled border. I used the Darice Snowflake Background embossing folder on my bottom layer of White Cardstock.  The Label 28 foiled piece is also embossed using the Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder. The snowmen are popped up onto the Label 28 die cut with foam squares and then glued to a Spellbinders Decorative Labels 28 die cut. My final touches were matching sparkly ribbon and a few enamel dots.
I added used a few Copic Sketch Markers to highlight a few areas. I put C1 on the snowmen, YR04 for their noses, R01 for their cheeks and used Red and Green Gel pens to colour in the scarfs and mitts.
I also used the Mini Minc Machine to foil the HH Sentiment called " Unassembled Script" .

I must say that the Heidi Swapp Mini Minc Machine is really a cool tool to have in your craft closet. I have so much more to learn and improve on but my first attempt was fun! I'm happy how my cards turned out. Lora has so many different colours of foil and items to help you get started. Go Check them out here!

Happy Stamping!
