Happy New Year!

Crazy Bird Series #1
Hi OCS peeps and a big Happy New Year to you! Today is a new month and you know what that means..... It's the start of a New Challenge over at One Crazy Stamper on their Blog. The Theme this month is "Anything Goes". I got the Tim Holtz Bird Crazy stamps and Tim Holtz Crazy Things (accessories) stamps before Christmas and figured I would pull them out and play around.  I decided to make a Happy New Year Card using the Crazy Bird #3, Top Hat and Bow for this week's card.
A while back I purchased  Copic Sketch fluorescent markers and decided to was time to give them a try as well.  They are nice and bright and fun to figure out! On this card I dug out some paper from my stash and have no idea what  line it's from. I used a MFT Zig Zag stitched circle die to cut out my bird. The bird and the paper are so bright that I decided to only add a ribbon for my embellishment this time. I made the sentiment on the computer.
On the inside I also used my computer to make a sentiment as I don't have any New Years sentiment stamps. (note to self.....purchase some for next year LOL)
Copics Used:
Bird Body: FRV1, RV14, RV17, RV19
Beak: FY1, YR04
Hat & Bow: T3, T4, T5, T7
Ground: T0, T1, T3, T5
outline: B000

I had so much fun with this bird stamp that I've decided to do a series for the month. So stay tuned and each Wednesday I'll show you a card with a new bird!

Don't forget to make something and link it up over on the BLOG for this month's "Anything Goes" Challenge! You've got lots of time and I'll be looking to see what you make! Good Luck, who knows you could be our next monthly winner!

Who wants to go fishing?

Howdy!
So who wouldn't want to go fishing with this adorable penguin? This super cute stamp from High Hopes is called "Ice Fishing Penguin". I just love his little warm outfit and frozen fish on his pole!
I decided to use paper from the Echo Park "Hello Winter" collection. Mr. Penguin's scarf is paper pieced for a fun element. I added the Frostyville Border from Memory Box along the top and a silver wooden snowflake on the bottom. The High Hopes stamp called "Have An Ice Day" is the perfect sentiment for this stamp.
The "Holiday All Year" sentiment is from High Hopes as well!
Copics Used:
Penguin: T1, T3, T5, T7/ Y35, Y38, R11
Hat & Jacket: BG11, BG23
Stick & Boxes: E42, E43, E44
Ice & Snow: BG000, BG01

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my card today!

Making Friends!

Hi OCS Fans!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with your families! I certainly did and I must say I am stuffed LOL! Today I am sharing one last Christmas card that I made. This High Hopes stamp is called "Making Friends". This adorable snowman doesn't just have to be used just for Christmas, he's the perfect winter themed stamp as well.
I am using paper from the Photoplay's Dear Santa Collection. Some twine, button and a little bit of liquid appliqué finished off my card.
The inside sentiment is also from High Hopes and is called "Work Of Art".
Copics Used:
Snowman: B000, E43, E44
Hat & Boots: C3, C5, C7, C9
Reds: R35, R37, R39
Greens: YG05, YG07, YG09

Mr & Mrs Claus!

Happy Tuesday!
For today's post I am using the High Hopes Stamps super cute couple called "Mr and Mrs Claus"! Both Bob and the little boy are sneaking cookies before Mrs Claus can even get them off the pan! Typical in most houses I think LOL!
I used my Silhouette machine to make this card base and layers. After colouring my image and cutting it out, I added Crystal Stickles to all the fur trimmings. I added some red gems and some ribbon with  gingerbread man button.
Inside sentiment is also by High Hopes called "We Wish You A Merry Christmas".
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E11, R20
Hair and Boy's pants: E43, E44, E47
Jewellery: Y17, Y19
Boots, glasses & belt: W3, W4, W6, W7
Reds: R24, R27, R29
Greens: G05, G07

It's just a few more days until Christmas. I'm just about ready and excited for the day to arrive! This is my last post before Christmas so I just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season!
