Spring Is Here!

Hi High Hope Peeps!

Today's card combines two of the new Spring 2016 collection from High Hopes Stamps! Using my MISTI, I made a little scene using the "Fragrant Blooms" and "Puppy Wonder" stamps!

The paper is from my stash......I'm slowing using it up LOL! First I stamped the "Fragrant Blooms" and then masked it off with a Post-It note. Then I added the "Puppy Wonder" stamp. The flowers kind of overlapped from the 2 stamps.

You can see here that my image is popped up with foam.

The inside sentiment is called "Everything Grows" and is also from the new release.

For the puppy, I coloured his fur first then using my bottle of Copic Blending Solution and a terry cloth washcloth, I dabbed the coloured image. This gives you a bit of texture to his fur.

Beautiful Blooms!

Happy Saturday!

Hi everyone!! I had some extra time this week and finally got around to using the MFT Card Kit called "Beautiful Blooms"! The kit came with cardstock, stamps, dies, sequins, mini ink cubes and a 6x6 paper pad.

I love how they turned out. I kind of made them with the idea that I would give this as a set to someone. I think I will try to make a matching box to hold the cards and envelopes in. I will say that these took a bit of time as I cut them out, stamped with my Misti and then added to the cards. Time consuming but well worth the whole process!

I left the insides of the cards blank so you can just write a little note for whatever occasion you are sending the card for.

I must give credit to My Favourite Things for some of the designs that I did. They enclose some shots to inspire you and I loved them so much I copied what their Designers had done on some of these cards. Why mess with a good thing LOL!

Birthday Text!

Hi!

Today I'm over on the Ai Blog using the set found exclusively at Hobby Lobby called "Hot Java Mama". I just love this set. It has 2 large images, 2 small images and 7 sentiments! Doesn't get better than that!

I decided to use papers from the Photo Play Party Girl 6x6 collection and paper pieced her house coat. Just a simple design with some Pretty Pink Posh Stitched borders added down the left side.

There are 2 larger and 2 smaller images as well as 7 sentiments in this set. Wonderful versatility and value for your money! I kept the design simple and added Stickles to the happy face.
