Who wants to act their age? Not me LOL! This fun stamp set is called "Lifetime" set (#4728)! It's so fun and true for a lot of us. Your only young once so have a blast!

I decided to use papers from the Echo Park Sweet Summertime 6x6 collection. The fun bright colors just lent themselves to this funny image! I always associate this type of balloon with Birthday parties so I think this could be a cute Birthday card as well.

Foil Happy!

Hi OCS Fans!

Today's card is a bit different for me as I usually have a coloured image on my card. I wanted to try something different for a change. I pulled out my Heidi Swapp Mini Minc machine, some light pink foil and away I went!

I decided to cut out these pretty flowers using the MFT Floral Fusions Cover-up die and some Heidi Swapp Toner paper. Once it was cut I ran it through the Minc with some pink foil. Just a simple layered card with a die cut "thanks" and a butterfly.

It's hard to get a good picture with the foil. If you use a flash it just bounces off it. Trust me the foil is super pretty!

This sentiment is from my stash and I just added another cute die cut butterfly.

The Minc machine is fun to use and the possibilities are endless! Lora has lots of fun Minc accessories over at her store! Check the out!!

Coffee Diva's #2

Hi High Hopes Fans!

Today I am sharing with you the second card I made with the "Coffee Talk" stamp. I love this stamp and couldn't help myself, I had to make another card with it! Maybe it's my love of coffee.....ya think LOL! You can see my first card using the "Coffee Talk" stamp here.

I stamped the image onto the SVG cut file using my MISTI and layered it with the larger matching SVG file. The background is made using a stencil from Create A Smile called "Lots of Mugs". I taped it down to my paper and using Distress inks, I sponged several bright and fun colours. I also sponged the "coffee" chipboard embellishment to match. Some ribbon and sequins finished off my card.

I used the same background process for the inside as well as the HH "Girl Talk" sentiment.

With Sympathy!

Greetings!

I think Sympathy cards are the hardest to make as the occasion is one of great loss. Hopefully receiving a handmade Sympathy cards makes the recipient feel just a little bit better knowing you poured love into the making of it!

I decided to watercolour these cards for a softer look. First I stamped and heat embossed the image on some watercolour paper. Then using Distress Inks and some water I coloured the images. A few sequins and they were done.

I re-stamped one of the flowers on the inside and watercolored it as well. The sentiment is from my stash and sorry but I don't know where it is from.

The stamp is from Stampendous and is called Sketchy Blooms.
