Pretty Gladiolas!

Hi Everyone!

I think the cards I hate to make the most are Sympathy cards. Not because they are difficult to make but because they are never for a happy occasion! On the other hand they are a card that I always have made and on hand in case one is needed. This stamp is called "Pretty Gladiolas" and can be found in the "Party Time" collection from this month's New Release over at High Hopes Stamps.

I actually stamped the image 3 times to create a bouquet. I masked the middle image and then stamped on either side of it.  I added some ribbon and purple iridescent sequins to complete the card.

This is a new sentiment from the "Party Time" release and is called "In Our Hearts".

Love Is In The Air!

Howdy Ai Fans!

I wanted to share another Valentine's Day card with you! Today I am using the Art Impressions set called "Val". I have to say I think Val is one of my favourite Valentine themed stamps from Ai! He is just so cute and that expression on his face makes me grin every time!

For this card I wanted to try something a little different for the background. Instead of using scrapbook papers I decided to make the background myself! Using Tim Holtz Distess Inks, blending tools and a piece of watercolour paper, I used a circular motion and covered my piece of paper with the ink. 

I made some ink splatters using the end of a paintbrush and various paint mediums in colours to match.

I used this sentient on the inside from the Ai "In The Air" set.

Sweetest Wishes!

Hi Ai Fans!

It's the second week of the "Lots of Love" Challenge and the New Release of the Spring Mini Try-fold sets. Today I got to play with the "Sweetest Wishes" set. I love the Try-fold pre-folded card sets from Art Impressions as well. It makes it super easy to make a card with these sets!

The Sweetest Wishes set comes with 4 images and 3 sentiments as well as the 2 dies needed to make your card! I love how you can see the 3 layers of the card from the card front!

Here's the middle layer with the mailbox shut. I love that it's interactive and you open the box to see what's inside!
