Old Guys Club!

Hi Ai Fans!
I think this stamp set is one of my favourites! This is "Old Guys Club" from Art Impressions! I can just picture what these guys are saying to each other, can't you? I picture them sitting in the park on this bench, their weekly meeting spot and chatting about the past days! Or maybe the Grand kids..... or the state of the world or just simply people watching! The fellow on the right cracks me up....typical man, can sleep anywhere LOL!
I inked all the edges of my papers with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and added a few enamel dots (my obsession). I chose paper from the MME Now and Then 6x6 collection sticking with a trap theme to my colouring!
I popped up the sentiment and the 3 flags for some added dimension.

Lets Watercolor!

Hi Ai Fans!
It's the second week of the "Let's Watercolor" Challenge over on the Art Impressions Blog. I'm using the Garden Wagon Mini Watercolor set. I also used a flower stamp from the Watercolor Flowers Set 2.
I stamped my Wagon image with a Marvy LePlume marker in Sepia (#45). Taking a bit of water and a brush I softened the lines. Then I stamped the flowers into the wagon and softly dabbed my brush around on them. Once my image dried I cut it out with a Gina Marie Designs Loopy Ovals Die and finished off my card.
The sentiment on the outside of my card as well as the inside are from the new Watercolor Sentiments set from Art Impressions.
Markers used:
Marvy LePlume #45 Sepia
Tomboy: 126, 158, 606, 725

I hope you'll try your hand at watercoloring and enter our Challenge!

It's Bath Time!

Hi High Hopes Fans!
Look at this adorable little hedgehog! He sure loves those bubbles! This is "Baby Hedgehog bath" from High Hopes Stamps and was part of the Baby Boom Release in September. I just think he is so cute that I had to get him out and make a card!
I'm using papers from the Doodlebug Anchors Away 6x6 collection. I love the bubble paper, it goes perfectly with this image! I added glossy accents to the Bubbles and Clear wink of Stella to the bath water.
The Stitched Flag has the HH "Precious Little One" sentiment stamped on it.
Copics Used:
Hedgehog: E53, E57, E59, R01, R00
Tub: B24, B26, B28
Towel: Y13, Y15, Y17
Water & Bubbles: B0000, B000

Fashionistas!

Happy Friday Ai Fans!
For me my favourite stamps that Art Impressions makes are the "Girlfriend" line! I love how they are always having so much fun together and just reminds me of my girlfriends and the fun we always have! This stamp set is called "Uptown Girls" I love that with this set you get the stamp plus 3 different sentiments!
I stamped the image onto Copic Paper and then used it to be my main background of my card by cutting the bottom edge with the Pretty Pink Posh Scalloped Border die. Each Girlfriend has a bit of glitter on her to make them sparkle just like their personalities. I made a little tag for the sentiment and added it to the ribbon. A cute bow with a flower centre finishes everything off.
Copics Used:
Gold Wink of Stella
Clear Wink of Stella
