Love Birds!

Hello Ai Fans!

What's cuter than an older couple showing their love?! I hope I always give Hubby hugs even when we are old! This couple is from the Art Impressions "Love Birds" set. This set of clear stamps one of the Ai Store exclusives that you are able to purchase online from Art Impressions.

I stamped and coloured 2 sets of these love birds. I decided to paper piece part of their outfits using paper from the Penny Black Summertime 6x6 collection. I also used the same papers to ad the layers to my cards.

The set comes with 4 images and 5 sentiments. I added different sentiments to each card. I think they look really cute set inside a Lacey Circle die cut!

It's time to post again on the Craftin Desert Diva's Gallery over on Facebook with my card inspired by the August Monthly Mood Board!

When I look at the Mood Board it reminds me of a Birthday so I decided to create my card with the "Birthday Elephant" Digital stamp.

I decided to use papers from the Doodlebug Dragon Tails 6x6 paper pad. It has balloons and ice-cream cones that fit with the mood board.  I printed out my image and cut it out with a die from the CDD Fancy Frames set. The scalloped border die is from the CDD Landscape 2 die set.

This super cute sentiment came with the digital stamp.

Ai Challenge Orange & Black!

Hi Ai Fans!

It's the second week of the Art Impressions Challenge "Orange & Purple" as well as the release of the New wooden blocks exclusively for Hobby Lobby!

I am using the "Filled With Thanks" Block today.

I decided to pull out my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens and water  to color in the image. I started by stamping the image on some watercolour paper and heat embossing the image with black embossing powder. Then using the Art Impression "Watercolor Palette" and a brush, I colored the image in. I found these fall papers in my stash and I decided to use the Ai "Window Die" to cut out a peek through window to showcase the stamped image.

Oh Bull!

Hi HH Fans!

I'm just popping in today to share with you another adorable image from the High Hopes "So Much Cuteness" Release! I'm loving this release because the images are a nice size and not too detailed so you can create a card quite quickly! These images are great for the beginner or more experienced colorer!! Let me introduce you to the "Oh Bull" image!  I just love the little bird on his head!

My card is a simple design and I just used 2 of the papers from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Fall 6x6 collection! Once I popped up my image with foam squares and added it to the paper, I thought of the saying "less is more". Sometimes you just want the image to be the total focal point not all the embellishments that you add. I added Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter pen to the bow and flowers for some bling.

I have a little secret to share. I was all finished colouring my image and was added Gold Wink of Stella to the ring in the Bull's nose when plop" a huge amount came out. I'm sure the whole neighbourhood heard me scream LOL! What to do now???? Rather than throw out my finished image I decided to just re-stamp the head. I coloured it, fussy cut it out and then popped it up with foam squares. It added a cute dimension to his head! Sometimes mistakes turn into the best little things ever!
