Snow

Hi HH Fans!

Well another Christmas card off my list to make LOL! I'm sharing the adorable stamp from High Hopes Stamps called "Snow". I love anything Snowmen, so this stamp is perfect for my love of them!

I am using an older 6x6 collection from Bo Bunny Called "Powder Mountain". I love Blue and silver for Christmas! I was at a crop recently where I got to meet Kathy Racoosin from The Daily Marker and one of her tips or techniques is to do a darker "halo" around your image. I was a bit scared to try this but I must honestly say I like how it turned out! I tried one using the "W" and the "C" Copics.

I went a bit crazy and added Nuvo Crystal Drops in Gloss White all around my image to make it look like it is snowing.

I also added some YNS Gumdrops in the corners of my card in matching colours to finish it all off.

On the inside I chose to use the sentiment from High Hopes called "Dot Snowmen Melt"

New HH Challenge!

Hello HH Fans!

It's the first of the month so that means a new Challenge over at High Hopes Rubber Stamps and the theme this month is "Christmas/ Winter Fun". The Design Team is using images from the new "Seasons of Celebration" collection. I am using the super adorable "Christmas Baby Girl" image!

After I stamped the image using my MISTI, I coloured this cutie up with  my Copic Sketch Markers. I think the Doodlebug "Sugarplum" 6x6 collection is perfect for this stamp! I love the non-traditional colours and they are so fun and "girly". I added Crystal Stickles to her flower headband and the lace on her outfit for a fun element.

Spring Chicken!

Hi Ai Fans!
Thanks for stopping by today to see my card using the Art Impressions "Birdie & Egg Carton" image! The Chickens in the Ai "Bird Brain" line always make me giggle! They just have so much attitude and there are some funny sentiments that you can pair with them!

I decided to cut a chicken wire overlay for my design paper with a Silhouette Studio cut file to go with "Birdie". Then using a speech bubble I added my sentiment. The sentiment is called "Spring Chicken". What I did was cut the stamp in half with my scissors and used the other piece on the inside of my card. A few enamel dots finish everything off.

Here you can see the second half of the "Spring Chickien" sentiment.
