Just "Chick-en" In!

Hello!
Oh my gosh, I'm loving all the new stamps over at High Hopes from the new "This & That" release!
This cutie is called "Chicken Stack" and I paired it with the "What the Flock" sentiment.
After stamping the "Chicken Stack" onto Copic Friendly paper, I coloured it in using my Copic Sketch markers. Taking a Gina Marie "Pleated lace" rectangle die, I cut out the adorable image. I'm using papers from the Doodlebug "Down on the Farm" 6x6 collection. I  love the High Hopes sentiment "What the Flock", it just makes me giggle! A few enamel dots and my card is finished!!
I decided to decorate the inside of my card this time and used the HH sentiment called "Just Chick-en In".

Birthday Wishes!

Happy March 1st!!
Wow where did February go? ....time sure does fly these days! Today is a New Release "This & That" over at High Hopes Stamps! I can always use Birthday cards in my stash and this cutie is an adorable addition! Meet the cute "Baking Gnome" and "Birthday Wishes" sentiment from the new release.
I started my card by stamping the image onto Copic friendly paper with Memento black ink. My next step is then to pick my papers. I chose papers from the Polka Doodles "Birthday Fun" 6x6 collection.
Taking my Copic markers I coloured in the image. I cut out "Baking Gnome" with a circle die and mounted it onto another circle die, cut from cardstock. Some banner dies with design papers and my sentiment help to make my card design. A few enamel dots, bow and glitter pen on the pink icing finish off my card.

Get Well Wishes!!

Happy Tuesday!
I love having "Get Well" themed cards on hand! I always think that getting a card when you're under the weather just brightens your day. When I saw the "Spoutin' Off" image with the "Feeling Whale" sentiment from High Hopes Stamps , I knew it would make an adorable card!
I decided to make an "Easel Card" today for something different! I haven't made one in ages and I absolutely love this one! I used my Cameo and a Svg file from Lori Whitelock called "Scalloped Circle Easel Card". The file has all the necessary parts to put together this card quick and easy. After stamping my image onto Copic friendly paper, I coloured it in with my Copic markers. Next I used A Gina Marie "Double Rope Circles" die and cut out my image. I popped it up with foam tape onto the card base. The Svg file shows to use a brad to keep the card in the easel position, but I used the sentiment popped up with foam tape, works perfectly. I don't often add flowers to my card as I'm not the greatest on placement but it worked here! Some glitter pen on the water and spout finishes off my card.

Here you can see how the Easel card folds down flat for mailing.

Winter Fun!

Hi!
The 2022 Winter Olympics have inspired me to make this card today! My favourite thing to watch is the skating competitions! I love the beauty of the skating and the costumes are stunning! When I saw "Ice Princess" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps, it brought back so many memories! My sister and I always loved to skate! We would make up routines for our "skating programs" and then would judge each other. We could do a spin and a one foot jump but we thought we were spinning and jumping just like the Olympic skaters lol. The "Frozen Skating Pond" is the perfect background for my little skater!
I stamped the pond and skater onto Copic friendly paper and coloured them in with my Copic markers. I cut the "Frozen Skating Pond" with a Craftin' Desert Diva's Inside Scallop Square die and also used it to get the border around the pond image. The "Winter Fun" sentiment also from High Hopes was stamped directly beneath the pond so it looks one layered. Using my Brother Cut N Scan I cut out "Ice Princess" and popped her up on the pond with some foam tape. Some Diamond Stickles on the trees and Nuvo Glitter Gloss pen on the ice add some fun sparkle to my card! Since "Ice Princess" is a "Star", I added some star stickers in each corner to finish off my card.
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E11, E21
Hair: E43, E44, E47
Outfit: RV17, RV19
Skates: C00, C1, C6
Trees: G40, G46, G85
Pond: C00, C0, C1
Snow: B0000, B000, B00, B01

What's The Buzz?

Hello!!
I miss seeing all my friends and catching up on each other's lives!!! Due to Covid, we haven't been able to get together and I can't wait to see them again! I thought this adorable "Hunny Bear" stamp and sentiment called "What's the Buzz" from High Hopes Stamps made a perfect card to send to one of them.

My card comes together quick using the Studio Katia "Darling Ribbon & Dotted Frames" die set. It cut out all of my papers except the strip of bees. I just layered some cardstock behind it and I was done with the card base design. I stamped "Hunny Bear" onto Copic friendly paper and coloured it in with my Copic markers. Using my Brother Cut N Scan I cut out the image and popped it up on the card with some foam tape. A bit of glitter pen to the wings and honey and I was finished!

Copics Used:
Bear: E71, E74, E77, E79
Bee Outfit: N10, Y15, Y17, Y18
Honey Pot: B95, B97, B99
Wings: B0000, B000, B01

Be My Valentine!

Happy Tuesday!
Since Valentine's Day is around the corner, I decided to make a Valentine's card using the adorable "Matchmakin' Maynard" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. I paired Maynard with the HH sentiment "Sm. Fancy Be My Valentine".
To start my card, I stamped the image onto Copic friendly paper and coloured it with my Copic markers. Using a heart shaped die, I cut out the image. I stamped the image onto a post it note and then fussy cut it out. I used that as a "mask" over top of my coloured image. Using some Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink and a cloud stencil, I created the background over the masked image. It's always fun when you peel off the mask and see how your image is now surrounded by clouds. I am using papers from the Moda Scraps "Pink Cotton Candy" 6x6 collection. I also inked all the edges of my papers with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo. A bit of Crystal Stickles on Maynard's hearts finish off my card.
Copics Used:
RV66, R85, R83, RV34
E31, E33, E34/ E43, E44
W1, W3, W5

Snow Buddies!

Hello Friends!
I'm sharing my last card today from the "Winter Friends" re-release over at High Hopes Rubber Stamps. This cutie is called "Snow Buddies". I'm going to send this to my friend to brighten these winter days! What a fun month it's been seeing what the Design Team created using all the new images!

To start, I stamped my image onto some Copic friendly paper and coloured it in with my Copic Sketch markers. Then using a Gina Marie "Loopy Square" die I cut the image out. I'm using papers from the Photoplay "Luke 2" 6x6 collection. I added some polka dots to the Hedgies scarf and ear muffs for a fun look. I love this sentiment called "Friendship". It can be used for so many different card themes! A bit of glitter pen on the snow elements and Crystal Stickles finish off my card.
Copics Used:

Stump: E43, E44, E47

Have A Beautiful Day!

Hi!
Today I am using the "Fish Kiss" image from the Re-Release called "Winter Friends" over at High Hope Rubber Stamps!  I like to think this cute polar bear is kissing his fish friend, not trying to eat it LOL.
I decided to make a winter scene for these "Fish Friends" to sit on. Papers from the Craft Consortium's "Polar Playtime" 6x6 pad worked perfectly! I added the snow paper and then fussy cut out the South Pole scene and added it to the snowflake paper. Next I used some MFT Stitched Snowdrifts to create the "hill". I added some little trees from a die I had. All the papers have their edges inked with Distress Oxide ink in Tumbled Glass. After colouring my image with my Copic markers, I fussy cut it using my Brother Cut N Scan, and popped both the image and sentiment up with foam squares. I added some fish scales with a white gel pen for fun.
I decided not to glue down the trees as it adds a bit of dimension to the snowy hills. I paired my image with the "Beautiful Day" sentiment.
Copics Used:

Foxy Friends!

Happy Tuesday!
Oh my gosh...... Here's another adorable image from the "Winter Friends" Release over at High Hopes Stamps. These cuties are called "Foxy Friends". I paired my image with the High Hopes "Good Times" sentiment.
I decided to use papers today from the LDRS "Arctic Snowfall" 6x6 collection. Since the foxes in the paper were silver/white, I decided to try to colour them to match. I'm still working on my""fur" texture skills but I think it turned out ok. A simple design today with all the edges of the papers inked in Shaded Lilac Distress Ink. Some matching purple enamel dots finish off my card.
I popped the image and sentiment up with foam tape for added dimension.
Copics Used:
W00, W0, W1, W2, W3,W4
R00, R01, R02
Prisma: White PC938, French Grey PC1072

Then I coloured it to match the papers from the Doodlebug "Down On The Farm" & "Buffalo Checked Woodgrain" 6x6 collections. I layered the papers with cardstock on my 5.5" square card and added a Spellbinder Lacey Circle die. A few enamel dots and some glitter pen on the snow finishes off my card.
I used the "Don't Worry" sentiment from High Hopes on my card today. Here you can also see how the image is popped up with foam squares for added dimension.
