Emilee & Lola

Hi everyone! 

Today is my day to post for the High Hopes Stamp DT. I am showing you one of the super cute new images that will be available March 19th! I am using the new stamp called Emilee and Lola. Oh my goodness who doesn't love a little girl with her teddy, wagon and puppy!

I coloured Emilee & Lola with my Copic Sketch markers. I framed the image with a Lacey Square die cut from Spellbinders. This paper is from the American Crafts "Welcome Spring" 6x6 paper pad. I added some lace, ribbon and clear Wink of Stella gel pen to all the flowers. To define the paper I also inked all the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink by Tim Holtz.

On the inside I used the sentiment called Springtime Script and some more die cut shapes.

I made 2 of these cards. I wasn't as happy with the hair on this one but couldn't throw her out as she still looked so cute!

Art Impressions "Kate"

Happy Friday!

Well I've been busy making Easter cards this week! I decided to showcase these cards for my Friday post over at Art Impressions. Today I am using the sweet image called Kate (sku 4113). Kate is so cute and makes a really adorable Easter card.

I made 2 versions of Kate using paper from the Bella Blvd. Simply Spring Collection and the Doodlebug Easter Parade collection. Kate looks so cute coloured and paper pieced with the bright colours in these collections!

 

On the inside of my card I used the Ai Easter basket (sku#4117) and the Basketful (sku#4017) sentiment. Art impressions has tons of Easter stamps! Head on over and check them out.

I fussy cut out Kate's image and then paper pieced her dress and headband.

Vintage Vibe!

Hello Ai Fans

Today is a brand new release day over at Art Impression Stamps! Ai has a new line called Ai Vintage, which as the name states are "vintage" images. Today I am using the Bathing Suit Set (sku#4589). They are so cute and will go perfectly with all the vintage papers on the markets these days!

I tried to make the card look vintage as well. I inked the edges of all the papers with Tim Holtz Distress ink  in Vintage Photo. I also added a doily, lace and some pearls to add to the vintage vibe. This time instead of totally colouring the whole image, I paper pieced the tops and one bowler a change and to match the papers.

I love the sentiment inside. It comes with the Bathsuit Suit set. Ai always has such funny sentiments!
