It's A Boy!

Friends of ours just became new Grandparents for the first time! It's such an exciting time for their family right now. I wanted to make a special keepsake card for the new arrival. I used the C.C. Designs image from the Swiss Pixie collection called "Baby Boy". This stamp sees to be my go to stamp for making Baby Boy cards! I just think he is super adorable!

I used designer paper from the Doodlebug Snips and Snails collection. Lots of die cuts add to the layout of my design. I personalized my card by adding Cohen's name and birth weight.

This is my favourite "new baby" sentiment from the Amy R Welcome Little Ones Sentiment set. I'm so excited to meet Cohen! He's a lucky little guy that has a wonderful family to love him!

Graduation Time!

Hi everyone!
Graduation is right around the corner for 2 of my favourite people! Both my Nephew and my Cousin's Daughter (I like to think she's mine on loan to my Cuz, LOL) are graduating from Grade 8! I have no clue where the time went, as I remember like it was yesterday when they were born! I'm not getting older am I?

I used the set from Your Next Stamp called Grad Kids. It has the 2 images as well as 2 sentiments in the set. I coloured the images with my Copic Sketch Markers, and then fussy cut them out with detail scissors. I added some ribbon and twine to each card. I thought for my nephews card He would appreciate the twine, as it's not so "girly" LOL. I added some YNS Gumdrops to finish it off.

Just a simple inside of the card using one of the included sentiments. I stamped the sentiment with embossing ink and then sprinkled silver embossing powder on it. I used my heat tool to set the ink and powder.

The Grill Father!

Happy Friday!

There is a new Challenge over on the Art Impressions Blog called "For The Fella's". With Father's day right around the corner it's the perfect time to check out all the male themed images at Art Impressions. I just love this image called "The Grill Father" He just cracks me up for some reason!

For this image I decided to only use the Copic Marker colours in the "E's". I thought it might be a bit tricky but it actually was quite easy and fun!
