Work It!

Hello Ai Fans!
It's the second week of the Art Impression Challenge called "Paper Piecing Party" over on the Ai Blog. For my take on the Challenge I used the Girlfriends "Workout" set.
I decided to use paper from the new Doodlebug Polar Pals 6x6 collection. I paper pieced the exercise balls and the girls outfits.
On the inside I used the sentiment from the set.

Crazy Bird #5

Hi Everyone!
This is the last post for January so that means it's the last Crazy Bird in my Crazy Bird series for January over on the OCS Bog.  I hope you've enjoyed my take on these fun birds! For my bird today I made him into a Valentine card card using the heart from the Crazy Accessories stamp set.

I stuck with the same Copic marker theme all month, using some of the Copic Sketch Fluorescent markers. The bright paper is from the Bo Bunny Family Is 6x6 collection that I've had for awhile.
Copics Used:
Body: FYG2, FBG2, FB2, FYG1
Hearts & Bow: FRV1, RV04, RV06, RV14/ FRV1, RV17, RV19

Happy Stamping!

Feel Better Soon!

Howdy HH Fans!
I was running low on Get Well cards so I thought it's the perfect time to get out High Hopes Stamps image called Valerie Nurse Angel.
I am using paper from my stash again! It's one of my goals (not resolutions LOL) for the New Year.  I cut out my image using a MFT Zigzag Oval die and layered a Spellbinder Lacey circle behind it. I layered the middle strip of Designer paper with a border punch strip on both sides. A bit of ribbon and some Stickles on Valerie's wings finish off my card.
On the inside I'm using the High Hopes sentiment called "Better Quickly" and the super cute Bandaid.
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E11, R20
Hair: Y11, Y21, E53
Bear: E42, E43, E44, E47, E49
Dress: C1
Wings: B000
Bandaid: E95, E97
Reds: R35, R37
I actually made 3 of these cards for my "stock pile". I did the bear's fur different on each image. I used dots on one and squiggles on the other. Not sure which of the 3 images I like the best.

Thanks for stoping by today!
Happy Crafting!

Cozy Kittens!

It's Challenge Time!

I mentioned in a previous post that one of my goals for 2016 was to enter into more Challenges and that is exactly what I am doing with this super sweet digital image by From The Heart Stamps! This adorable stamp is called Cozy Kittens
I chose papers from the Echo Park "Blowing Kisses" 6x6 Collection. I started by embossing my bottom 2 pieces of cardstock and then layering Designer paper on top. I cut my image and sentiments from the Cozy Kitten set with my Silhouette machine and offset the images 3x so that I could layer behind them with matching cardstock. Some ribbon, enamel dots and clear Wink of Stella on the scarves finished off my card.
I used one of the sentiment from the set on the inside and cut some hearts from my left over Designer paper.

Copics Used:
Big Kitten: C1, C3, C4, R11
Scarf: R24, R27, RV13, RV14
Little Kitten: C3, C5, C7, C9, R11
Scarf: R24, R37, RV14
Noses: black gel pen
I used a technique on the Kittens fur using a piece of terry washcloth and my colourless blender solution. You sort of dab it on to create some texture on the fur.

I am entering this card in the Challenges over at:
From The Heart Stamps: January digital stamp of the month
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Best Friends
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Create with critters
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps: Wednesday Challenge Anything Goes

Happy Stamping everyone!
