Mr. Wonderful

Hello Ai Fans!
It's the second week of the "Add a Brad Challenge" and the new release of the Utility Die sets over on the Art Impressions Blog.  When I saw this die it immediately reminded me of my Dad. Not only is he "Mr Wonderful" but he has a Swiss Army knife on his key ring.
I knew I had to replicate my Dad's key ring. I found a file on the Silhouette Store and cut out the file. Then using the "Utility Die Set His",  I cut out all the parts  and assembled the pieces together.

I stamped the tools with embossing ink, sprinkled on black embossing powder and heat set them with my heat gun.
I also decided that I wanted to make a card with the Utility Die Set. I tried to make the card look like the back of a pair of men's pants, with the belt, belt loops and pocket.
I must admit that I had a blast using this "Utility Die set His"! It's  such a cool fun idea!  It would make a great Father's Day card too!

Blooming Friends

Hi OCS Fans!
I hope you have been as excited as I've been with all the cards from the Design Team showing the New Spring 2016 Release of High Hopes Stamps! Aren't all the images just the cutest things ever!! Today I am showing you a card I designed using the new stamp called "Blooming Friends". That little Hedgehog just melts my heart!
I decided to "go out of my box" and try a different hair colour for  change! It started out to be more pink but then a "blob" of dark ink happened! Don't you just hate when that happens?! I decided to challenge myself to continue to use my image and try to fix it rather than just toss it aside! I'm quite happy with the more burgundy hair colour that resulted! I added Clear Wink of Stella to her hair for a different look as well (hard to see in picture). I'm using paper from the Bo Bunny Believe collection, with a little twine and a few enamel dots as embellishments to finish everything off.
The inside sentiment is also from High Hopes and is called "Springtime Joy Script".

Strike A Pose!

Terrific Tuesday!
It's another great day over at High Hopes Stamps with the New Spring 2016 Release. I got to play with the "Shopping Diva's". When I saw these two Diva's I knew I had to have them shopping in great city! Paris sprang to mine as I still have some of the Carta Bella's Paris Girl paper collection and an Eiffel Tower die that would match perfectly!
For this card I made it into a 6x6 square card with an added shaker element to it! The pink and black colour combination is one of my fav's and I just love how my card all came together! I added Gold Wink of Stella to various parts of the images and added glossy accents to their sunglasses. The wide pink lace, sequins and enamel dots just fit perfectly.
On the inside I stamped the image and sentiment again in Angel Pink Memento ink. It's light enough that you can still see it but you are able to write over top if need be. The sentiment is called "Strike A Pose".
I added various pink and black sequins and some iridescent tiny hearts to make the shaker element.
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E11, R20 Lips- R89, R85
Hair: T0, T1, T3 / Y21, YR23, YR24
Girl on left: T0, T1, T3/ R81, R83, R85, R89
Girl on right: R83, R85, R89 / T3, T5, T7

With this New Release you can now purchase matching SVG files to use with your die cutting machines! So much easier than fussy cutting!

You have to head on over to the High Hopes Stamps and see all the adorable new images that were just released!  You're going to want them all!

Happy Stamping!
