Out To Lunch!

Hi Ai Fans!

I've been wanting to use this stamp for a while now and finally got it off my "list" and into a card to share with you! This stamp set is from Art Impressions and is called "Out To Lunch". I just love that sentiment! The set comes with the image and 3 sentiments.

For this card I used papers from the Echo Park Petticoats 6x6 collection. I thought the Teapots went perfect with this image. I inked all the edges of the papers with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo to add some dimension. For some reason I saw the "green ladies" hand as a glove, after all she looks so dignified and out for afternoon tea!

Matching papers on the inside and the sentiment is called "Always Be Friends".

Happy 50th Birthday!

It's Wednesday!

I'm over on the OCS Blog today sharing a card I made using the "Sweetheart Owls"! We were invited to a joint 50th Birthday party for a couple on the weekend and I thought this was the perfect set to use for their card!

I love this line of Owls from the High Hopes Spring 2016 New Release. They have matching accessories that you can add to the images. The "Birthday Hat", "Small Bow" and "Celebration Balloons" made this card perfect for the couple's 50th celebration! I also used the sentiment called "Another Year Wiser" and the matching SVG file on the front. I love the added "50" I stamped on each balloon, it makes it so much more personal!

I used the "Fancy Script Happy Birthday" and re-stamped the "Celebration Balloons" in Cantaloupe Memento ink.

Spring Is Here!

Hi High Hope Peeps!

Today's card combines two of the new Spring 2016 collection from High Hopes Stamps! Using my MISTI, I made a little scene using the "Fragrant Blooms" and "Puppy Wonder" stamps!

The paper is from my stash......I'm slowing using it up LOL! First I stamped the "Fragrant Blooms" and then masked it off with a Post-It note. Then I added the "Puppy Wonder" stamp. The flowers kind of overlapped from the 2 stamps. 

You can see here that my image is popped up with foam.

The inside sentiment is called "Everything Grows" and is also from the new release.

For the puppy, I coloured his fur first then using my bottle of Copic Blending Solution and a terry cloth washcloth, I dabbed the coloured image. This gives you a bit of texture to his fur.
