Just Married

Hello!
Look at this cute couple!!! They are part of the High Hopes Stamps Spring 2016 release and just in time for "wedding season". This stamp is called "Just Married" and you can also purchase the matching SVG File to cut around your image with your electronic die machine.
I was inspired by my talented friend Natalie! She does a lot of Vintage looking creations and I wanted to give it a try as well. I inked all the edges of the Design paper and cardstock with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I added lace and a lace type flower that I also inked the edges of. I added a doily behind the image and popped it up with foam squares for more dimension. The little sentiment is from a paper collection I had in my stash. To keep with the Vintage themed colours I challenged myself to use only Copic Markers from the Earth tones.
To help keep the card upright and from sliding I fashioned a little piece of cardstock and attached it to both sides of the Easel Card.
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E21, E93, E95
Hair: E04, E07, E09 / E43, E44, E47

Slam Dunk!

Happy Tuesday!
Here's another super cute image from the new High Hopes Spring 2016 release! This super fly guy is called "Slam Dunk". I know lots of young fellows this card would be perfect for!
The Doodlebug Slam Dunk 6x6 Designer paper pad is perfect for this card or any Basketball themed project! I cut out the "Slam Dunk" image using the matching SVG files you can purchase to go with the stamp and using the MISTI stamped him perfectly! I love the black, grey and orange combinations in this pad and finished off the card using some Your Next Stamp Gumdrops!
I love to pop up my images to add interest and dimension to my cards!
On the inside I just used more items form the Designer paper pad.

Kiss The Cook!

Hello Ai Fans!
Today's card is a simple fun card using the Art Impressions Image Called "Kiss the Cook". We are in full "BBQ" mode here and this couple just makes me giggle!
I decided to use papers from the Echo Park Homegrown 6x6 collection. The vegetable paper just seemed to fit perfectly with the "Kiss the Cook" Image! I paper pieced the lady's dress to match the papers, added some ribbon and a button embellishment. The spatula is coloured with Silver Wink of Stella glitter pen.
The "Still Sizzlin'" sentiment goes perfectly with these guys! I used the reverse image from my border on the inside to match. I love to try to use all my "scraps" so nothing is ever wasted!
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E21, E93, R20
Hair: E44, e47
Dress: R21, R22, R24
Shirt: G94, G99
Pants & hat: E51, E53, E55
Hamburger: E31, E33, E35, R08, G94, Y38
White parts: W1
