Happy Birthday Canada!

Hi High Hope Fans!

This Friday is Canada Day for all us Canadians! When I saw this stamp from High Hopes Stamps called "Canadian Friends" I knew it would make a perfect card to celebrate our country! I think I will use it as part of my centrepiece for our Canada BBQ at the cottage!

I made the card base using a red piece of cardstock and my Silhouette Electronic Cutting machine. I popped up the "Canadian Friends"and the sentiment with foam squares for some added dimension. A handwritten Happy Birthday stamp and a few Maple leaves finished off my card. I also used my Silhouette to cut around my image and sentiment.

From The Hearts Stamps Monthly Challenge!

Hello!

Today I'm sharing with you a card I made for the monthly progressive challenge over at From The Heart Stamps. This month the digital stamp set is called "Ice Cream Lineup". What a perfect image for June and to celebrate the beginning of Summer!

I used the MFT Peek A Boo trio Die-namics to showcase the ice cream. I printed the image 3x and then cut out each image to add to the back of each circle of the peek a boo die. I used one of the sentiments on the front and layered it with matching cardstock. A nice piece of ribbon and some YNS sparkly pink gumdrops finished off my card.

On the inside I added some more of the Bo Bunny Primrose collection paper and another sentiment! I love this sentiment as who wouldn't want ice cream rather than broccoli!! (right Mom LOL)

Only Young Once

Hello Ai Fans!

Who wants to act their age? Not me LOL! This fun stamp set is called "Lifetime" set (#4728)! It's so fun and true for a lot of us. Your only young once so have a blast!

I decided to use papers from the Echo Park Sweet Summertime 6x6 collection. The fun bright colors just lent themselves to this funny image! I always associate this type of balloon with Birthday parties so I think this could be a cute Birthday card as well.

Foil Happy!

Hi OCS Fans!

Today's card is a bit different for me as I usually have a coloured image on my card. I wanted to try something different for a change. I pulled out my Heidi Swapp Mini Minc machine, some light pink foil and away I went!

I decided to cut out these pretty flowers using the MFT Floral Fusions Cover-up die and some Heidi Swapp Toner paper. Once it was cut I ran it through the Minc with some pink foil. Just a simple layered card with a die cut "thanks" and a butterfly.

It's hard to get a good picture with the foil. If you use a flash it just bounces off it. Trust me the foil is super pretty!

This sentiment is from my stash and I just added another cute die cut butterfly.

The Minc machine is fun to use and the possibilities are endless! Lora has lots of fun Minc accessories over at her store! Check the out!!
