Merlot???

Hi Ai Fans!

Today's card is sharing with you the wonderful "Celeste"! There's just something about Celeste that you just have to love...... right?!!

I thought the background paper from the MFT Wild prints was the perfect paper to use as it matches her top! I paper pieced the couch using some polka dot paper from the Echo Park Dots and Stripes Fall collection. I kept this card simple only adding a gold ribbon and bow. The sentiment is called "Merlot" and I added it to a Fishflag banner.

Carpenter Joe!

Howdy!

It's Fab Friday over at Tiddly Inks! I saw this adorable young boy "Carpenter Joe" and knew I had to have him! He's so cute and reminds me of my Nephew!

I decided to use papers from the Echo Park Refelections 6x6 collection! The rulers just remind of my Dad saying "Measure twice, cut once" LOL! I coloured Joe's overalls first. Then using a terry cloth rag and some Copic Blending solution, dabbed it on to give his overalls a demin look. Some twine, Cork embellishments and enamel dots finish off my card!

Here's the inside, I left it blank until I know what occasion it will be used for!

I had some cork sheets from MFT and using the MFT Tool Charm dies, cut out some cool embellishment to use.

Baby Boom Release and Blog Hop!

Oh my goodness aren't these two just the sweetest pair ever!!!! They are called "Two Peas in a Pod".

I am using paper from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid 6x6 collection. I added some white ricrac and a few matching enamel dots. The little green gingham bow finishes it off perfectly!

On the inside I used the new sentiment called "Like Two" which matches this stamp perfectly!

Turkey Crossing!

Hi HH Fans!

It's my last post for the August Challenge/ Theme "Fall & Halloween"! I fell in love with this guy, what a turkey he is (pun intended LOL). This stamp is called "Turkey Getaway".

I'm using papers from the Doodlebug Happy Harvest 6x6 collection. The colours are so rich and the patterns so fun! I used the YNS Fishtail Flag Border and then added cut out letters to make my "Turkey Xing" banner. The sentiment "Poultry in Motion" is also from High Hopes Stamps and goes perfectly with this Turkey! A bit of twine and some twine bows finished off my card.
