Southwest Christmas

Howdy Ai Fans!
Of course that "howdy" was said in my best southern accent LOL! Today's card is using the super cute newly released "Southwest" set (#4787)
The paper is from the Doodlebug Heres Comes Santa Clause 6x6 collection. This Southwest set is so cute and very non-traditional! This would be perfect for my Great Uncle who spends the winters in Arizona! I added Crystal Stickles for all the sparkle on this card.
On the inside another sentiment and image from the Southwest set.

I Wuf You!

It's Fab Friday!
Woohoo It's Fab Friday again over on the Tiddly Inks Blog! The theme is Anything Goes! This time when I was searching through the digital files in the Tiddly Inks Store I saw this "I Wuf You" image and fell in love with it! I think it's the dogs LOL..... If you know me, you know my weakness is my 3 fur babies!
I'm using one of my all time favourite collections from Carta Bella called "Paris Girl". Hard to part with it LOL but this adorable girl was perfect for it! I cut out the digital images using the MFT Postage Stamp Stax. A grey lace ribbon, bow and pink rose finished off my card.

Slide On By!

Hi Ai Fans!
It's a new Challenge and Release of the Ai Stacker and Slider stamp sets! It's my turn to do a feature tutorial and I am going to walk you through the process of using these slider sets. Today I am playing with the Reindeer Stackers set.
You can choose to cut out a small circle to hint at what lies behind the slider panel or just leave it plain.
What I love about these sliders is the fun interactive element they bring to your cards. I love that you slide the panel to reveal your coloured stamp!
To begin I gathered up the main supplies I would need to create the card.
I stamped my image using my MISTI onto a piece of XPress-it Blending paper that I cut at 1 3/4 x 4 5/8".
After stamping the image I coloured my Reindeer Stackers with my Copic Sketch Markers.
Using the Slider die I cut out a piece of Designer paper from the Echo Park "I Love Christmas" 6x6 collection. I used my bone folder to fold back the edges that will become the casing for the image and slider panel.
I cut my slider panel from more of the Designer paper at 1 7/8 x 5 1/8". I decided that I wanted one of the Reindeers to peak out the top, so using a 1" Circle Punch I cut out a circle. I also used a hole punch and cut a small hole at the bottom of the slider panel that I will attach ribbon to. The next step is to put double sided tape on the folded back sections. This allows you to attach it to your card base. You could also use glue if you wish. I find the tape is stronger and holds better.
Next step is to put all the pieces together to form your card. First I attached the slider to the card base. Then I added a small amount of glue to the back of the Reindeers and then carefully inserted it into the slider "rectangle" and glued it into place.
All you need to do now is insert the slider panel into the base and add any embellishments or sentiment to the front of your card. I added some ribbon to the small hole punched at the bottom to use to pull the panel down to reveal your stamped image.
I decided to add some snowflakes using the Ai Snowflake Die (#4804). I thought the Glitter Gold Enamel Dots finished the snowflakes off perfectly.
Copics Used:
E51, E53, E55, E57, E59
R20, R24, C1
Gold Wink of Stella
I wanted to show you that if you don't have the Slider Die yet, you can still make a super cute card just using the Reindeer Stacker set.
