Teacher's Rule!

Hi Ai Fans!

This week the DT is doing a swap with Marvy and boy 'o boy did I have fun trying out some new products!! Where I live the kids all went back to school this week! I thought it was the perfect time to use the Teacher's Rule set and create a fun tag that could be used for a teacher gift!

I have to admit that Tags always throw me for a loop. I think it's the longer area to cover and I struggle with the layout. I'm a 5.5" square kind of girl LOL! But I'm happy with how this ended up turning out!

I thought the Doodlebug "Back To School" 6x6 collection was perfect for this Teachers Tag. I also used the red Marvy Deco Just Glitter Premium pen on the red coloured things. That's the first time I've used them and they really flow nicely. I found this chalkboard tag and made it into a school chalkboard themed piece using the Marvy Bistro Chalk markers.

This is the first time I used The Marvy Le Plume Alcohol markers for colouring skin! They blended very nicely!

Autumn Clear and Mansion Release!

Hi Ai Fans!
It's the second week of the Art Impression "Off Kilter Challenge" and the Halloween Clear and Mansion release! I'm using the "Holiday Mansion" set and the "HM Accessory" set. I love this set as there are just so many possibilities you can come up with!

I wanted to create a Halloween themed Mansion with the set. I stamped the mansion on some Halloween themed paper and then I just added colour to the roof, doors and windows. I added some shutters with the stamp included in the set and fussy cut them out. I created my background night sky using different Tim Holtz Distress inks and added some black and white paint splatters.

The "Holiday Mansion" set comes with dies to cut out your windows and doors. I love that you can add little images behind your windows for an interactive element to your design. The "HM Accessory" set has the cutest little images and matching dies to cut them out with!

There is also a sentiment with the "HM Accessory" set which was perfect for the inside of my card!

September Mood Board Challenge!

Hello CDD Fans!
Today I'm over on the Craftin Desert Diva's Facebook Group sharing this cute card inspired by the September Monthly Mood Board Challenge!

The Fox, colours and arrows of this picture were my inspiration for this card!

Meet "Java Fox" who is a digital stamp. I decided to use papers from the Echo Park "Story of Fall" 6x6 collection. I coloured my image with Copic Sketch Markers and then cut it our using my Brother Cut N Scan machine. Lots of layers and a bow finish off my card!

Tea Light Cover!

Hi High Hope Fans!

Today I made a bit of a different project using the High Hopes "Haunted House" stamp. This stamp is from the New Release called "Seasons of Celebration". I decided to create a little panel that you slide over a candle holder to make an illuminated piece for Halloween.

To create this I stamped my image on some silver vellum with Versa Mark embossing ink and added some black embossing powder. After melting the powder with my heat gun, I used my Zig Clean Color Markers to colour in the image. I cut a piece of Halloween themed paper the same size as the vellum and using a hole punch and ribbon, tied the 2 papers together. Easy Peasy, just add your candle and your done!
