Get Well!

It's Tuesday!
Tuesday is my favourite day of the week because it's means it's my turn to post a card for High Hopes Stamps! I decided to add another "Get Well" card to my stash. "Dr Allun" and the "Speedy Recovery Background" made the perfect combination to try to cheer someone up!
I started my card design by stamping the background and colouring it in with my Copic markers. Then using a hexagon die, I cut through the card layers to make a "window" for Dr Allun to peek through. I made a red border for the window using two hexagon dies. Next I stamped, coloured and using my Brother Cut N Scan cut out Dr Allun.
Here's the cute Dr. Allun on the inside of the card backed by some MFT Buffalo Brights paper.

Easter Sampler!

Hi!
Popping in today to share another Easter card with you! This stamp is called "Easter Sampler" from High Hopes  Stamps. I just love this sampler of cuties and loved taking the time to colour it! High Hopes just has the most adorable rubber stamps!
I started by stamping my image with Tuxedo Black ink onto Copic friendly paper and then coloured it in using my Copic Sketch Markers. The "Blessed Easter Script" fit perfectly into the middle of the Easter Sampler. My choice of paper is from the Echo Park "Happy Easter" 6x6 collection and is as adorable as the stamp. I added some glitter pen to all the flowers for a sparkly effect. A nice big double ribbon bow finishes off my card.

Easter Slimline!

Happy Tuesday!
Easter is around the corner which always means to me that Spring is near! It seems like it's been a long winter, especially with all the Covid Lockdowns. I absolutely love this cute bunny called "Flop Eared  Rabbit" from High Hopes Stamps! I decided he would look perfect on a slimline card!
I thought it was fun to put Flop Eared Rabbit in different positions on my card as he looks like a bit of a mischievous character to me LOL. It's like he just keeps popping in to say hello! I stamped my images onto Copic Friendly paper and using my Copic Markers coloured him in. I used my Brother Cut N Scan to fussy cut him and then placed him in the circles that I had die cut out. I cut the sentiment from High Hopes called "Egg-star Special" in half to add it to my card for a bit of a twist on the original stamp.
Copics Used:

Sending Smiles!

Happy Tuesday!

The sun's out, the snow is melting the days are getting longer and it's March! I'm feeling happy knowing that Spring is just around the corner!! Meet "Raindrops Willa" from High Hopes Rubber stamps! Willa is just so adorable and I love her blue eyes! She makes me long for the daisies in my backyard.

I stamped Willa on to some Copic friendly paper and went ahead and coloured her in with my Copic Sketch markers. Next using a "Fancy Stitched Label" die, I cut her out. Willa is popped up with some foam squares for added dimension. My papers today are from the Bo Bunny "Pincushion" 6x6 collection. I love the "Sending Smiles" sentiment from High Hopes. It's one of my go to sentiments. Some matching enamel dots finish off my card. Oops I just noticed I forgot to colour in the black dots on the ladybug LOL. I'll do that now!

Rainbow In Your Heart!

Hi!
I needed to add to my "stash" of Sympathy Cards. Although I like making any kind of card, I hate having to give a sympathy card away because it means someone has lost a special person. I know that the "Pansy Window Box Frame" from High Hopes Stamps will brighten up the recipients day and let them know that I am thinking of them!
I stamped my image onto Copic friendly paper and coloured it in using my Copic Sketch markers. Next I cut the image out using my Brother Cut N scan and hand cut out the inside of the window. I added the rainbow paper into the window and popped my image up with foam squares for added dimension. Some lace, ribbon and gems finish off my card today.
I used more of the rainbow paper from the Honey Bee "Spring Lullaby" 6x6 collection on the inside and added the HH sentiment called "Rainbow In Your Heart".
Copics Used:
B60, B63, B66
RV63, RV66, RV69
YG00, YG01, YG03, YG17
Y31, Y35, Y38

Family Time!

Hello!
Yesterday here in Canada we celebrated "Family Day".  What's more "family" than a tub full of adorable piggies?!! This stamp from High Hopes is called "Good Clean Fun". This adorable family just makes me giggle! It also reminds me of my first home over 30 years ago. Our house was on older home and we had a clawfoot tub just like this. Reminds me so much of my girls bathing together when they were small!
I chose papers from the Craft Consortium Bright Blooms 6x6 collection. The flowered pattern reminds me of the  old wallpaper that was in our bathroom. After stamping my image onto some Copic friendly paper, I coloured in "Good Clean Fun" with my Copic markers. I also decided to use some Vintage Photo Distress Ink on all my paper edges to match the vintage feel of the tub. Some ribbon, a bow and enamel dots finish off my card.
On my decorated inside I used the Sentiment from High Hopes called "Filled With Bubbles". Such a perfect sentiment for this stamp!
Copics Used:
Piggies: R30, R32, W8
Shower cap: RV52, RV55, RV09
Tub: C00, C0, C1, C2, C3
Bubbles: B0000, BG000, B60, B63
Y21, Y26, E57

Gone Fishing!

Happy Tuesday!
Brrrrr..... it's been cold here lately but that works out perfect for ice fishing! Some of the lakes and rivers have frozen over and the Winter fishing enthusiasts are out trying to catch fish! "Fishing with Grandpa" from High Hopes Stamps makes a perfect card to celebrate those winter fishermen!
I stamped my image and sentiment onto Copic friendly paper and then coloured them in with my Copic Sketch markers. Next using a Stitched Octagon die, I cut them both out. My papers today are from the Honey Bee "Great Outdoors" 6x6 collection. I added some Liquid Appliqué to the fur trim on their outfits and let it dry. Then using my heat gun, I heated up the Liquid Appliqué. It bubbles up and I thought it looked cute for fur! A bit of twine with a bow finish off my card.
I used the "Gone Fishing Sign'" sentiment also from High Hopes Stamps. It goes perfectly with this stamp don't you think?!
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E21, E11, R20

Sick Ollie!

Hi!
Poor "Sick Ollie" from High Hopes .... he's feeling a bit under the weather. Ollie is all snuggled in his favourite blanket and tissues are nearby! I hope he feels better soon!
I reorganized my craft room last week and found a bunch of my embossing folders in a drawer. You know the old "out of sight, out of mind" saying. I promised myself the next card I made, I would use one. I thought this heart folder was perfect for Ollie as I am not only sending get well wishes but love as well. I stamped my image onto Copic friendly paper and coloured it in with my Copic Markers. Next using a Gina Marie Double Roped die, I cut out Ollie. I love the clean and simple design of this card. The Sentiment is also from High Hopes and is called "Get Well Soon 2". Just a hint of blue cardstock, some white polka dots and Stickles on the tissues finish off my card today
Copics Used:
Giraffe: YR23, YR24, YR27, E35, E37, W4, W5, W7
Blanket: B24, B26, B28, B39, white gel pen
Tissues & Box: B60, B63/ R29, Y35, Y38, B28

Swinging Birthday!

Hi!
We have lots of friends and couples in our subdivision that love to golf! So "Swinging Sherry" and "Retired Raymond" from High Hope Stamps make the perfect birthday card to add to my stash!
I started my card by stamping my images and the "Swinging Birthday" sentiment onto Copic friendly paper. Next I coloured in the images with my Copic markers and then cut them out using my Brother Cut N Scan machine. Today's papers are from the Doodlebug "Sweet Sumer" 6x6 collection. It was kind of a dull day today, so these fun bright papers cheered me up! I added polka dots to Sherry's skirt and plaid to Raymond's pants and hat using my markers. I decided to cut the "Swinging Birthday" sentiment in half so I could place it the way that I did. I created the sky background using a MFT Cloud Stencil and some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. Some stitched hills and a flag completed my "golf" scene.
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E21, E95, R20
Hair: E31, E35, E37/ C5, C7
Shirley: RV55, RV17, RV19
Raymond: Y35, Y38/ YG17, YG21, YG23, YG25
Shoes: C00, C1, C5, C7, C9

Hello!
Today's card is another Valentine card to add to my stash! I've always loved "Luigi" from High Hopes Stamps and now it's my turn to create with this cutie! When you pair Luigi with the "Pizza My Heart" sentiment, it's just perfect for Valentine's Day!
I stamped Luigi onto some Copic friendly paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then using my Copic markers, I coloured in Luigi. I used my Brother Cut N Scan to cut Luigi out and made a matching red layer behind him. The papers are form the My Minds Eye "Filled With Love" (an oldie) 6x6 collection. Some die cute hearts behind the image, fit the Valentine/Love theme.
