Hello Ai Fans!
Halloween is fast approaching and who wouldn't love these little trick or treaters arriving on your doorstep? This image is called "Costume Tots" (#3615). They are super adorable and so much fun to color up!
For some reason I just wanted to make a long card to show off these cuties! I made my own 8"x 3" card out of white cardstock. I used Halloween themed paper from my stash and layered it with plain coloured cardstock. Some enamel dots and a bow were my embellishments of choice this time.
Of course since these cards are an odd shape I had to make custom envelopes to fit them into. I used my scoreboard and paper trimmer to custom make the envelopes. I took a piece of paper that I cut at 8"x 10". I got this by taking the short side, multiply by 2 and then add 2" (3" x2 +2=8). Then for the long side you just add 2" to the length (8"+2"=10). I then scored the 10" side in 3/4" on both ends, turn your paper and score 1/4" on the 8"side. I cut the notches out where the paper met, fold, glue the 2 middle edges and there you have it a custom envelope.
On the inside I stamped just the top half of the costume tots with natural coloured ink by MFT and added the sentiment Halloween Greetings (#1784).
