Dots & Stripes!

Hi Ai Fans!

It's the 2nd week of the Ai Challenge called "Dots and Stripes" and the launch of the new Pop Cards!

These pop cards are the coolest idea ever!

Here's the front of my card! I had to explain to Hubby what "HB2U" meant.....Happy Birthday to you in short form LOL.  I am following along with the "Dot" part of the Challenge with this polka dot paper. I used my Silhouette Electronic cutting machine to cut out the letters and number for this card.

The whole idea behind the pop card is that your card folds flat but when you open it up the image inside "pops" up. I'm using the "Gator Pop Card set.". They are very easy to assemble but you do need to also have the Pop Card template die. The template is the part that you add all the layers of your card to. The Set comes with your images and dies to cut out everything you need to assemble your card.

Here you can see the layers that make up your 3D image.

I made a second version of this image. Instead of using the Gator as a Pop card I used the set to make a card with his head on an action wobble! There're likely tons of way to use these stamp sets that I haven't even thought of yet! My papers all are from Echo Park's Dino Friends 6x6 collection and go along with this Challenge theme perfectly!

Here you can see his head on an action wobble and is so cute when it shakes!
