Hi DDS Fans!
I've got a bit of a different project to show you today! This is my "Santa's Gifts" little snow globe from Digi Doodle Studios. I've had this little jar forever and actually forgot about it. When I found it again this idea popped into my head!
I coloured "Santa's Gift" with my Copic Sketch Markers and then fussy cut him out. I added a little piece of styrofoam with hot glue to the lid. I added a piece of florist wire to the bottom of Santa and then stuck him into the styrofoam. This way I was sure he wouldn't move around. I also glued the base of the tree to the foam and then added little tiny styrofoam balls to make it look like snow. Let me tell you they were everywhere LOL.
When I downloaded my "Santa's Gift" digital file I sized him to fit the jar and then made a second image, flipping it horizontally. This way I could glue the two images together so from any angle you would see Santa. It also helped so I could glue the florist wire between the two images. I decorated the lid with some ribbon and a string of pearl beads with my glue gun.
A nice big bow and wooden snowflake finish off the top of my jar.
