Hello!
Today I'm sharing with you some absolutely adorable mermaids! I had totally forgot I had purchased these cuties and thought I'd better get something finally made with them! This stamp set is called "BB Mermazing" by My Favourite Things.
On both these cards I made a ink blended background to look like they are underwater. I used Distress Oxide Inks in Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Broken China, Blueprint Sketch and a blending tool.
I created a "window frame" using a die from the CDD Inside Scallop Squares set and popped the frame up with foam tape. Then I inset the ink blended background and cut a little hill from some Cork to resemble sand. Next I added the Mermaids, turtle, fish, shells and plant to create an underwater scene
On the decorated inside I added a wave border and a sentiment from the "BB Mermazing" set.
For this cute card I used the "Double Slider Surprise" from Lawn Fawn. It's a fun interactive slider that allows you to "surprise" your recipient. It was fairly straight forward to assemble especially if you watch the video.
When you pull out at the same time from each side, 2 more panels are revealed for a surprise!
