Snowy Couple!

It's me again LOL!
I have 2 posts today as it's my High Hopes day to post plus it's the New December Challenge over on the One Crazy Stamper Blog. Click HERE to see my OCS Challenge post. My card today is very bright, cheerful and showcases the High Hopes Stamps called "Snowy Couple"and "Think Snow"!
I love the Doodlebug Sugar Plums collection! The colours are so bright and cheery and the patterns so much fun! I decided to paper piece the snow couples outfits for a fun change from colouring with markers. I found a new to me product called Liquid Appliqué. It's amazing!! You put it on like a marker and then heat up with your heat tool and voila it puffs up. I used it on the snow below the couple and to make it look like snow in the sky. I also sprinkled glitter on top of the wet product before heating to add some sparkle. The little gumdrop and candy stickers are from the same Doodlebug collection and tie in nicely to complete my card.
The inside sentiment is also from High Hopes Stamps and is titled "Work of Art". Used the MFT Stitched Rectangles for my sentiment and base layer. The bottom border is from Pretty Pink Posh and is from the Stitched Borders 1 set.
Copics Used:
Snow couple: B000, YR04, R11

Skating Snowlady!

Happy December First!
Since it's the beginning of the month, it's time for another new Challenge over on the One Crazy Stamper Blog! The Challenge theme is Christmas / Winter. Click HERE to go to the Challenge.
For my card I am using the High Hopes Stamp called Skating Snowlady. Today I am using a 5.5" x 4" card base so not a lot of room for a ton of design elements, which is nice for a change. I am using Silver Wink of Stella on the skate blades and Baby blue Stickles on the hat, mitts and button. A few matching YNS Gumdrops and a bow tied with 3 ribbons finishes it all off!
On the inside of the card I used the High Hopes Sentiment called "Holiday All Year".

Elf On A Shelf?

Happy Saturday!
There's such a craze with "Elf on the shelf" lately! I think it's so cute and fun to do and wish we would have had that when my kids were little! High Hopes "Painting Elf" reminds me of the shelf elf!
These milk cartons are from Michaels and I got them on clearance last year! What I did was make some red and green paper strips with my paper shredder to put inside and then stashed a little gift inside. Then I just decorated the outside and added the Painting Elf with some foam squares.
It makes a cute little box for a different type of gift wrapping!
