Mourner's Hat

Howdy!

It's time for Fab Friday again over at Tiddly Inks! With Halloween so close I wanted to make something to sit on my table by the front door. I decided on this "Mourner's Hat" I found in the Silhouette Store. I knew that one of the "Halloween Molly's" would be perfect to add to my hat! The digital "Halloween Molly" comes with 2 images, this one and Molly holding a pumpkin. You can't go wrong with either one of these sweethearts!

This design file stands about 8" high and makes a nice display piece. I cut out all the pieces and assembled my hat adding Molly in. I added real buttons rather than the paper ones the file comes with and a few extra flowers. My only regret is that I should have used a darker coloured paper for the hat.  But after using 6, 12x12 sheets I wasn't about to waste them LOL. I inked all the edges of my papers with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Black Soot.

Elvira's Kitty In Training!

Hi High Hope Fans!

It's Tuesday so it's my turn to share a card from the High Hopes Stamps New Release called Winter/ Fall Fun. Today I decided to use the super cute "Elvira's Kitty In Training". I thought the sentiment "Wicked" was perfect for this image as I can't imagine Elvira or the kitty could ever be wicked as they are just too adorable!!

I'm loving the papers from the Doodle Bug Boos and Brews 6x6 collection. They are just so bright and fun! I stamped and coloured my image and then used my Silhouette machine to cut Elvira and 2 background layers out. I did add clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pen to all the orange parts but it doesn't show in the photograph. A few YNS Gumdrops and a sticker finished off my card.

Happy Howl-oween!

Hi Ai Fans!

I have to tell you when I say this set I just burst out laughing! This just reminds me of my dogs! Yes I am that person that dresses up their pets for Halloween (much to my Hubby's dismay) LOL!! This is the new "Howl-oween" set from Art Impressions. I'm sure lots of you also do this to your pets!

Oh My gosh don't their faces just say it all!

See...... I am that person!!

I used one of the sentiments and image on the inside of my card. This sentiment rings true for me as well. If anyone knows my fur babies you know they get more treats than they need.

Holiday Shakers

Hello Ai Fans!

It's the second week of the Art Impressions Challenge called "Til' You Wobble" over on the blog! I am playing with the "Santa Mini Shaker" (#4798). I love this new line of Mini Holiday Shakers! They are super cute and so easy to use! You can make an adorable little Christmas card super fast!

I love this Santa paper from the Doodlebug "Here Comes Santa Claus" 6x6 collection. It just goes perfectly with this image. I coloured Santa with my Copic Sketch markers and added some Crystal Stickles to the fur trim and pom pom on Santa's hat. The set comes with the image a sentiment, mini action wobble and 2 metal dies. I cut out Santa's moustache and a few "Ho Ho's" to add to the card.

This is the fun part. You pop up Santa's moustache on one of the new Mini Action Wobbles and it adds such a fun interactive element to your card!
