Smile!

Hello!
Popping in to share this card I made using the "Fancy Floral 1" and "Fancy Floral 2" dies from Pink Fresh Studio. I have to admit these dies are another one of my "hoards" lol. I always see new things, order them and then stash them away. After a while I forget I have them and I have been known to reorder things I already have LOL (shhh don't tell hubby).
What I love about these Floral dies is that you can use them separately or layered together! Both ways are just as pretty as the other!
I started by cutting 2 pieces of watercolour paper slightly bigger than the frames. Then using my Distress Oxide inks, I blended different colours on each layer. Once that dried, I cut the Floral Frames using my die cutting machine.
Distress Oxide Inks Used:
Twisted Citron
Bundled Sage
Cracked Pistachio

Broken China
Picked Raspberry
Tumbled Glass
Peacock Feathers
I added a plain blue/green cardstock background under the frame layers. I added the "smile" die cut onto the middle of an embossed strip of paper. Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink was used on the embossed strip. I love how quick and easy this card came together!

Thanks for stopping by!

Lovely Day!

Hello!
I'm back with another card using the adorable digital image called "Sunshine Delights Little Friends" from Polkadoodles! A while back Polkadoodles had a 50% off sale and I stocked up on some of the adorable digital images!
My papers today are from the Simple Stories "Heart" 6x6 collection. I coloured this adorable Winnie using my Copic Sketch Markers. I don't usually use flowers on my cards as I struggle with placement but this one was easy. Here's my secret...... I had printed this image too close to the edge of the paper and when I wanted to cut her out with a circle die, it sort of went off the page and left a "hole". So I just placed the flowers over the hole and they magically went in the right spray LOL. And no one is the wiser except you reading this post. A bit of Stickles on the flowers and butterfly add the perfect touch of bling to my design!
Here's the decorated inside using a Polkadoodles sentiment from the "Winnie Sunshine Delights Sentiment Bundle".
Copics used:
Skin: E000, E01, E11, R20
Hair: YR14, YR27, E37
Yellow: Y21, Y23, Y35
Blue green: BG11, BG13, BG32, BG34
Green: G28, YG17, YG23, YG25
Shoes: C3, C5, C8
Ground and outline: YG17, YG23, YG21/ B0000, B000, B00

Thanks so much for stopping by today and remember this world is a better place because you are in it!

Workout Betty!

Happy Tuesday!
Oh my gosh this image just totally cracks me up! Meet "Workout Betty" from the Summer 2020 Release over at High Hopes Stamps! I love the expression on her face and those socks with her boots....LOL!!!
I decided to have fun with this card and use bright papers! Of course the Doodlebug "School Days" 6x6 collection fit the bill! The sentiment is also from High Hopes and is called "Caution". I added some matching enamel dots to finish off my card. I searched for "Card Sketches"on Pinterest and found this sketch to inspire my design. I made my card a 5.5" square rather than the A2 size.
My decorated inside uses up some of my scraps and I added the High Hopes sentiment called "Humor Me"

After downloading, sizing and printing my image on my printer, I coloured "Valentine Lizard" to match the papers from the Pink & Main Enchanted Garden 6x6 collection. I used an Oval Stitched Die to cut out the image and popped it up with foam squares onto my background! All the dots on the Lizard have Stickles on them for a fun look. I used a sentiment from the Kinda Cute Thank You Sentiments Basics Digital set cut out with a Fishtail Flag die. To finish things off I added a bow and flower button.
On the decorated inside is another sentiment from the Thank You Sentiments Basics Digital set.

Let The Party Begin!

Hello Again!
I hope you are enjoying the weekend as I am! I'm at my parents cottage and am totally relaxed sitting by the water! I love Art Impression Stamps! I used to be on their DT and miss creating with their goodies! So every once in a while I have to pull some out and get creating! This is a newer Girlfriend set called "Practically Perfect".
I used a white A2 sized card and added a "Diamond Mosaic Background" die cut from Gina Marie. Then I cut out a Gina Marie Loopy Oval die to back my image. I stamped the image on Copic friendly paper and coloured it in with my Copic Sketch Markers. I used 3 different skin colour combo's for a change as we all don't look the same....right?! Next using an oval die, I cut out the image. A nice big box and some Crystal, Sea Spray and Yellow Stickles finish off my design.
Both the sentiment on the inside and on the from come with the "Practically Perfect" set.

Waving Hotdog!

Howdy!
Oh My Gosh!!!! What is cuter than a "Waving Hotdog"??  When I saw this digital image from Kinda Cute By Patricia Alvarez, I just knew I had to create a fun card with it! My favourite way to cook a hotdog is over a campfire, what about you?
I downloaded, sized and printed the image onto Copic friendly paper. Next I coloured the "Waving Hotdog" in with my Copic Markers. The Doodlebug papers from the "So Much Pun" 6x6 collection were perfect for this cute digi! Using my Brother Cut N Scan, I cut out the image leaving a small white border. Mr. Hotdog is popped up with foam tape for added dimension. A few enamel dots and some Stickles on the mustard line finish off my card.

Oh my gosh isn't "Fred" from the High Hopes Summer 2020 Release just the cutest dog ever?!! And his name....Fred just suits him perfectly and makes me smile!
I stamped Fred onto some Copic friendly paper and coloured him in with my Copic Sketch Markers. Next I cut him out with a Zig Zag Frame die. I decided to use papers from the Doodlebug "Down On the Farm" 6x6 collection. I added some twine and a Wooden dog house embellishment that I inked with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I love the "Ruff" sentiment also from High Hopes. It's perfect for Fred to let someone know you're missing them!

Chatty Squidgy!

Welcome!
With all the social isolation and distancing during the pandemic, I sure am missing my friends! I thought this image from Stamping Bella called "Chatty Squidgy" was perfect to reflect the times. Even though a phone call can't quite replace an actual meeting it's better than nothing!
I coloured both of the images that come in the "Chatty Squidgy" set with my Copic Markers. I tried to colour them match the papers from the Honey Bee "Spring Fling" 6x6 collection. I cut the larger image out with my Brother Cut N Scan and the smaller one with a Gina Marie Pleated Circle die. I added a small piece of black wire that I wrapped around a pencil, to replicate a phone cord, joining the 2 images together. The sentiment also comes with the "Chatty Squidgy" set. A bit of glitter pen to the girl's bows finish off my design.
Here's the decorated inside using a sentiment from Paper Smooches.
Copics Used:
Skin: EE000, E01, E11, R20, white gel pen
Hair: E53, e55, E57, E59/ W3, W5, W6, W7

Shoes: C1, C3, C5
Phone: W5, W7, W8

Don't forget to reach out to your friends during these difficult times!
