Let's Build A Snowman!

Hello and Welcome!
Thanks for stopping by to see this adorable card today using the Kinda Cute By Patricia Alveraz digital image called "Reindeer Building A Snowman". This image just warms my heart!
To start designing my card, I downloaded, sized and coloured in my image. Then using my scissors, I fussy cut it out. The background paper is from the Doodlebug "Christmas Town" 6x6 collection. I picked up the snowflake frame die at Hobby Lobby on clearance last Fall and it doesn't have a name on it. I added the snowy hills and a die cut tree to create a little winter scene. Their noses and hills have some Stickles added to them for a glittery look. A nice big red bow and snowflake gem finish off my card.
Copics Used:
Reindeer: E31, E23, E57, E79/ W1, W3/ R01, R24
Snowman: C00, C0, C1, YR04, YR09, W5, W8
Red: R24, R27, R29

Mr & Mrs Snome!

Hello!
I'm so happy you stopped by today to see my latest card. I had so much fun making this card! It's a "Pop Up", and I love that the surprise is on the inside. I'm using the "Mr & Mrs Snome" set from Craft Consortium for my design today.
On my card today I am using papers from the Polkadoodles "Gnome Season" and "Ho Ho Gnome" 6x6 collections. To keep my card closed, I made a belly band and decorated it with 2 of the images that come in the set and a MFT Poinsettia Die cut.
Here's what you see when you open the card! An adorable Pop Up scene and greeting! The greeting is from High Hopes Stamps and is called "From Our Gnome". To create the pop up I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Pop Up Die. I added a few Magnolia Tree die cuts and even cut the Robin off Santa Gnome's Hat and put it in the tree. I cut around the images using my Brother Cut N Scan.
Here you can see how the images are popped up.

Gingerbread Dreams!

Hi!
I haven't made a "stair step" card in forever and decided that this would be perfect to pair with the High Hopes Stamp "Gingerbread Friends" and "Gingerbread House" images. This brings back memories of my Mom making Gingerbread Houses every year with my girls. I have to admit that ours never looked this pretty, more "goopy" and loaded with anything and everything LOL. But they sure had fun doing them.
To start, I stamped and coloured all my images to match the papers in the Doodlebug "Christmas magic" 6x6 collection. Next using my Brother Cut N Scan machine I cut out the images. Then I pulled out my Cameo and a svg file and created the Side Stair Step card base. I enlarged the file to fit the larger Gingerbread Friend image. I added a fence die cut in front of the Gingerbread House to create a little scene. The lollipops have some Clear Glitter Pen added to them and of course I had to add some Crystal Stickles to "icing" parts on both images.
Here's a side view where you can see the "stair steps" better. I thought the High Hopes "Gingerbread Dreams"sentiment went perfectly with my card theme!
I stamped an extra house and coloured in just the lollipops and little gumdrops, fussy cut them out with scissors and added on the first "step" to help create a more dimensional look.
Copics Used:
Gingerbread: E33, E35, E37
Reds: R24, R27, R29
Greens: G28, YG17, YG23, YG25
Yellows: Y21, Y23, Y26

Penguin BFF's!

Hi!
I have a "thing" for Penguins! I think it stems from my Grandma. She loved Penguins and since Grandma has passed, whenever I see one it just reminds me of her and gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling! So of course when I saw this adorable stamp set from Craft Consortium called "BFF's" from the Polar Playtime line, I just had to have them!
I made these two adorable cards using paper from the Craft Consortium's "Polar Playtime" 6x6 paper collection. To start I stamped my images onto Copic Friendly paper and coloured them with my Copic Markers.
I used one of the background strips that came in the paper pad for my background, and added some snowy stitched hills. I cut the image out with my Brother Cut N Scan and popped it up onto my scene. I also added some fun trees using designer paper. Some Stickles to the hills and under the penguins finish off my first card.
For this card I used the SSS Twisted Stitch Border die to cut out both sides of my image. A nice rmatching ribbon, bow and some Stickles on the scarf finish off my card.
Copics Used:
W00, W0, W1, W2, W6, W8, W9
RV52, RV55, RV66/ RV04, RV06, RV09
YR16, YR65, YR68

Snowball Fight!

Hello!
I created this cute "Bendi" card using the adorable "Boy Playing With the Snow" digital image from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alveraz. Nothing better than a snowball fight right?!
To start, I downloaded, sized the images to my liking, flipped one image and coloured them in with my Copic Markers. I decided these two would be twins and have reversed matching outfits. Next using my Brother Cut N Scan, I cut out the images leaving a small white border. I grabbed my Cameo and cut out the "Bendi" card base using an svg file. I am using papers from the Carta Bella "Snow Much Fun" 6x6 collection. My village and fence are from a die set called "Village Edges" from Elizabeth Craft Designs. I inked all the village edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink.
I used some acetate and made small strips to add some pom pops to. Then I added them to the card to look like the twins were having a snowball fight.
The card also folds flat so it's easy to put in an envelope and pop in the mail!
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E21, E11, R20
E43, E44, E47, E49
BG05, BG07, BG09

Holiday Greetings!

Greetings!
What a cute Santa and reindeer, don't you think?! This is the adorable "Christmas Pals" red rubber stamp from High Hopes. It's hard to believe that it's November already and Christmas is right around the corner! This will be a cute addition to my Christmas card stash!
I stamped "Christmas Pals" onto Copic Friendly paper and coloured it in using my Copic Sketch Markers. Next I fussy cut out my image and added a black marker to the edges for a finished look. My papers today are from the Memory Box "Christmas Plaid" 6x6 collection. I've had the SSS Birch Tree Window for a while and finally found the perfect design to use it on. I cut it out and using some Delicata Golden Glitz ink and a sponge dauber, added some gold to the cut out edges to match the gold stripe in the paper. Santa is popped up with some foam squares for added dimension. The sentiment is also from High Hopes and is called "North Pole Greetings". I added some Stampendous Spoonful of Snow for Santa and the Reindeer to stand in. Some Stickles on Santa's fur trim and gold enamel dots finish off my card.
Copics Used:
Skin: E11, E21, R20
Beard: C0, C1, C2, C3

Make A Splash!

Hi!
I'm just popping in today with two cute cards I made using the Polar Playtime "Make A Splash" stamp set by Craft Consortium! As soon as I saw the Polar Playtime line, I fell in love with it all! Let's just say there might be more cards coming using this line LOL!
Both of my cards use paper from the CC Polar Playtime 6x6 matching paper pad. Some nice white bows on both cards tie them together and finish off my designs.
I stamped the seal and iceberg image and then added the jumping fish above it. I hand fussy cut out the 2 fish on the bottom and added them with foam squares for some dimension. I added some loose glitter to the iceberg with glue. Let's just say..... I'm still finding glitter everywhere LOL. This card starts with a 5.5" square card base.
This card is a touch smaller at 4x4". I used some MFT Stitched Hills to create this little scene. The igloo has some Clear Glitter pen on it for a fun look.
Copics Used:

Carollers!

Happy Thursday!
This sweet image from Kinda Cute By Patricia Alveraz called "Kids Singing Carols" brings back fond memories for me! When I was little we always spent Christmas Eve at My Aunt and Uncle's house. Santa would make a surprise visit with a small gift for everyone and my family would feast on goodies. After we ate my cousins, sister and myself would go out carolling around the neighbourhood. Those were the good old days!
I downloaded, sized and printed my image on Copic friendly paper and using my Copic Sketch Markers, coloured it in. I decided to use papers from the Photoplay "Luke 2" 6x6 collection. I cut out my image and squares using an MFT Zig Zag Square and Rectangle die. I added some polka dots to the girl's hat, scarf and mittens using a White Gel Pen. Some ribbon, bow and silver enamel dots finish off my card.
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E21, E11, R20, R22
Hair: Y32, Y26/ E55, E57

A Cozy Season!

Hello!
Today's card uses the adorable "Chris Mouse Dreams" stamp from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. This  little cutie is waiting for Santa to come, all bundled up and cozy for the night!
I stamped and coloured my card with my Copic Markers to match the papers from the Bazzill Basics Paper "Countdown To Christmas" 6x6 collection. I added some lines to the blanket with a thin black marker to create a checkered look. I stamped the sentiment "Cozy Season" below my image. Next, using this Frilly Nested Square Die from Gina Marie, I cut out my image, backed it with matching cardstock and added it on a tilt to my card. A nice big bow and some red enamel dots finish off my card.
Copics Used:

Flip The Snowflake!

Howdy!
I'm popping in today with a set of cards I made using the Taylored Expressions "Flip the Snowflake" stamp and matching die. I bought this set last year when I was inspired by TE video (you can view it HERE). I finally got it out and played along while I watched the video.
These cards come together fast as the stamp is inked, no Copic colouring here lol. You also use your MISTI to "flip" the image for perfect stamping and spacing. Then you use the die and cut out the snowflakes, place on a background and BOOM you're done!
On this diagonal version, I used 3 ink colours to try to get an ombre effect. I embossed the sentiment with Silver Embossing Powder. I added the stamped "cut out" to an ink blended background. A few clear gems in various sizes finished off my card.
On this example, I made an ink blended background and then stamped the image with embossing ink. Then I added Silver Embossing Powder and heat set it. I stamped the sentiment in ink to match and added a few die cut snowflakes popped up with foam squares. More gems finish off this card.
On this card I used the same technique as the blue card trying to get an ombre inked look. I embossed the sentiment with more of the Silver Embossing Powder. I added some pink gems on all the snowflake centers for a sparkly look.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Snowlady!

Hello!
I'm a sucker for a cute snowman and today's image from High Hopes Stamps called "Birdies Friend Snowlady" melted my heart! She's just too cute, isn't she??!!
I stamped and coloured my image with my Copic Sketch Markers to match my papers from the Photoplay "Frosty Friends" 6x6 collection. I cut the image out with an Oval die and cut another oval to place behind it. Using more oval dies I cut out some of the Designer paper as well. I used the High Hopes sentiment called "Work of Art"on the front of my card. A simple layout makes this fun card today.
I popped the image up with foam squares to give the card some added interest. Some ribbon, enamel dots and a bit of Stickles on the heart buttons to finish off my card.
