Happy Tuesday!
My craft room window looks out to my backyard and while I colour, I always glance up to see the bird activity. Lately there have been a lot of Robins eating worms and gathering items for their nests. When I saw this cute image called "Early Bird" from High Hopes Stamps it just made me giggle! It reminded me of my backyard and is a perfect image for Spring! I love the look on the worm's face, and how it looks like he's hanging on for dear life.
I stamped my image onto Copic friendly paper and coloured it in with my Copic Sketch markers. I tried to mimc what a Robbin looks like. I think maybe his belly should be a bit darker red. Next using a Spellbinder's Large Scalloped Octagon die, I cut the die out and a piece for behind my image. I used papers from the Echo Park's "I Love My Family" 6x6 paper collection. A simple design today with no embellishments. I'm just letting the image be the focus! The High Hopes "Springtime Joy" sentiment finishes off my card.
